These pens are really fun and provide an easy way to decorate a card! I love all the different colors and patterns. Additionally, each pen is double-sided so one side creates the unique pattern and the other side is an extra-fine tip marker that you can write normally with. The reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because you have to push pretty hard when rolling the design-tip side otherwise your design is spotty. Additionally, some of the markers worked better than others. But overall, still a unique and cute idea!

The straight line end works great. The decorative end sticks or doesn't work at all. I really just wanted the writing end anyway and I like the colors. These will be fun to use. I'm slightly disappointed not to be able to use the other end, though. I did get the hearts to work on one of the purple ones, but it took a lot of pressure and had to have the paper on a very firm surface so it wouldn't work in my journaling book. I did notice that when I colored anything in, it bled through a bit. Just writing, it was okay.

The pen tips work just fine and write very cleanly. Unfortunately, the roller tips don't deliver much consistency on certain patterns. It does dotted/dashed lines okay, but the heart/star border tips don't get fully inked and can distort shape if you don't apply the correct amount of pressure.I will probably use these mainly for writing. I have very little use for the roller ends, especially since they don't work particularly well.

These are cute but there’s a bit if a learning curve to getting them to write nicely. The package comes with two of each color. One end is a fine line marker as opposed to the design wheel thing. I feel like they are fun to play with but I don’t expect to use them a lot. Kids might enjoy them more though.

I thought these would be super cute and fun to use.... but they're not really. The novelty wears off real fast. Plus there's only 8 unique colors, each one is doubled and while each color has a unique design pattern, the same colors have the same pattern, e.g. both yellow pens have the same swirl design. They aren't good for coloring, and barely good for decorating because the ink comes out spotty on the roller end. The nibs of the fine line end are very soft and don't maintain their integrity for long either. I think they're a cute idea but it needs work. Three stars because my kids are pretty happy whenever I give them any pen.

Great pens that make writing and journaling a lot more fun. I’ve used these at my desk to write notes and sometimes just to add some flare to my job lists or other notes. It gives it a nice fresh vibe that makes writing down lists more fun and I can see where it would be great for journaling. I haven’t had the chance to use them for that yet but I hope to in the future. The stamps on the end work well as long as you make sure to hold the pen straight. The writing end has good flow and has worked well for me so far. Overall the colors are nice and vibrant and they have worked well. The price for 12 pens of this nature is good too!

So I got these today and had to try out each pen to see how they work and the designs for each pen. There’s are six colors and you will get 2 pens of each color and design. I found that the pen works best when you hold it straight up and down so the ink will flow down and the roller will work smoothly. Once the ink begins to flow, the designs come through very well. This is a fun and unique way for kids to create something really cool! Great deal and will make a nice addition to a kids art box or as part of a birthday present. You will most likely have the most memorable gift at the party!

My little artist loved these markers especially the design making tips. She used them to make boarders on her pictures she drew. The fine tip side let her get nice details in her drawings. They all worked.
