These shoes are neutral - ie, not providing extra stability or exceptional support for the arches or for any kind of pronation. Sufficient support for normal feet.I bought these for my growing pre-teen and I wanted him to have shoes that promoted a more natural growth of his feet. Not many well cushioned shoes out there for kids that will not smoosh their toes. He loves his shoes and I can already see a huge improvement in his balance and toes (his toenails were so smooshed with the other more conventionally shaped shoes with a narrow toebox). I have been an Altra user for a long time now and love the zero drop and the wide toe box.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. With the wide toe box, my feet don’t feel cramped at all. The white and pink make it super stylish and cute. I always get so many compliments when I wear these.

These are my third pair of Altras. They fit a little bit different than my last pair, but better. These are my every day shoes. When I say every day, I mean, every day, every occasion except the beach. I work in them, I walk to the market, and I hike and trail run through some outdoor areas where I should be wearing boots. I should say I am at the point where I won’t even bother trying to buy other shoes. After my first pair of Altras were eaten by a friends dog, I found some new balances on sale and thought “these will be fine”. They were not. Fast forward 3 years and these showed have changed my life. I have a very wide toe box and a narrow heel. I also roller skated competitively for 12 years and am prone to foot cramps if I cannot move the muscles in my feet independently while walking or running the way I did when skating. Altras are the perfect mix of natural foot shape cushion without being too bulky or stiff.My one and only complaint about Altras in general is that they wear for me at the big toe area. This specific style is going to not only wear in that area, but also catches sometimes and trips me up when running or hiking over roots or rocky trails. Overall, these shoes hold up only about a year or two , but in their defense my one year of use is probably over their mileage recommendation.

Comfortable for my service industry job where I'm on concrete floors for 40hrs a week. However, both shoes have started to tear after having them only 2 months.

I have been on the search for the world's most comfortable shoe and I think I have finally found it! I am a nurse who is on her feet for 12 hour shifts up to 60 hours a week. I have a tailors bunion on both feet which push my pinky toe into my fourth toe causing a soft corn on the inside of my pinky toe. It is literally the most painful thing I have ever experienced. The toe box on these shoes is a godsend. I can wiggle all of my toes and have plently of room even with compression socks. I purchased an 11 and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 10.5W in NB, and Hoka. This shoe is light weight, perfectly cushioned with a nice responsive spring to help absorb shock, so you lumbar doesn't. I just ordered 3 more pair, because you cannot beat the price. Sorry Acsics, NB, Hoka, On, Brooks and all the other shoes that fill my closet. These are the ultimate winners!

So light weight and cushioned. Great for the gym, and walking all day. I love the wide toe bed, feels great on my feet. Altra is my new favorite shoe brand.

I bought these shoes for indoor workouts mostly stretching and strength training some cardio work. They are very poorly made, plastic pieces came off during a workout today. I can't imagine running in these outside, would probably last 2-3 months tops. I have treated them very well indoors and they are just under a year old. Will definitely be buying a different brand. I liked the flat foot for gripping but again, cheaply made. Even on sale I wouldn't buy these again.

This product shipped quickly and was exactly what I expected. Altra Torin 6 was true to size.
