Bought this to use in my car with Android Auto. The cable always used to disconnect from my phone and wouldn't charge very fast, so I thought getting a wireless connection might work.Setup and connection was a breeze. Disconnections are much more rare. One downside is that while it's plugged in and connected, for some reason I can't switch the input on the car to just bluetooth, so connecting to a different phone in the car to listen to audio is a pain and I need to unplug the dongle. Never used to have this problem when connecting the phone to android auto with a cable. But this is a minor inconvenience, so I'm still very satisfied

Works excellent and connects quickly. I bought 1 and was so impressed that I picked up a second for our other car. It is super convenient and will end up saving my phone's charger port in the long run. I use a wireless magnetic vent-style charger mount for my cars so I just hop in, toss it on the magnet mount and I am on my way, android auto automatically starts up and works great. Tested with google maps and Fermata Auto (screen mirroring) for hours on a road trip and didn't have a single issue.I have and will continue to recommend this product to anyone including family and friends because of its convenience and ability to reduce phone port wear.

The device was easy to install and works great. I love being able to leave my phone in my purse and still be able to use Android Auto features.I did find that my phone would continually try to connect when the car is parked in the garage and I was in the house. I started my only having the device plugged into the USB while the car was on but then purchased a plug with an on/off switch to avoid overuse and damage to the USB port.With the added USB extension with the on/off switch, everything is great and I love it.

I never gave wireless Android Auto a second thought with my previous car because it was always there. Just got a new car and it now requires a USB cord connection every time...like WHY??? Well this adapter does exactly what it says it does...returned the convenience of wireless Android Auto. It took about a minute for the initial plug & play set up and works perfectly. No dropped signals, no more wires and a great price compared to all of the other similar gadgets out there!

I was able to set these up quickly. But the next time I went to used them, it would not connect. I had to go through setup again. Contacted seller who refunded the purchase, but was disappointed that they would not work. I was connecting to a 2022 Harley, with Samsung phone. Maybe with other vehicle or different phone you might have better luck.

This device is only for Android Smartphones to use with Andorid Auto.When I received the Android Auto Wireless Adaptor [device] and connected everthing together, it worked. However after two small trips around town for testing, it stopped working. I could hear a faint humming sound coming from the device. Once I determined it was defective, I ordered a replacment.Amazon makes retruning defective or otherwise unwanted items rather easy. Amazon gives you a scan code for retruns. For me simply placed all items back in the box it came in, and took it to the customer service desk at my local Whole Food's and gave it to the clerk, he checked my scan code with his reader, and took the box off my hands, no shipping label needed!When I received the replacment it worked very well. I can stream music, and use the Google Maps in the same way I used it when I used my cell phone connected directly to my car's USB port. I have used it now for several days and find it handy that I do not need to leave the phone in an awkward place when the passanger seat is not available. In addition at night time it is often difficult for me to plug in my smartphone wire (if I had to use the wire elsewhere), so leaving this device connected is very handy.My car is a 2017 SUV built by Hyundai. You may have other experiences or needs for this device in your vehicle.For a long trip, using this device will not provide an automatic way to recharge the smartphone's battery, so on long trips I recommend connecting a charger wire to the smartphone, unless your car has a charging tray for smartphones.I would have given this one more star except for the fact the first one stopped working. That even makes me wonder about the expected lifetime of the one I now have.In short, this was an easy divice to pair up (with bluetooth), and it does work as described.

I had wired Android Auto in my Hond CRV (2022) but I didnt like the wire as we have to plug/unplug it every time I get in to the vehicle to use Android Auto or for even for listining music from my phone. When I searched for wireless option many item were listed and most of them were expensive. One of my friend suggested this and I bought this one luckily.Setup was easy and I'm not sure why some people have complained about instructions. It's very easy to follow the instructions and setup.To connect you turn on Bluetooth, Wifi and GPS and within few seconds it pops up on the screen. It takes about 30 secs to connect every time you get into the car. There is virtually no difference in using this device wireless vs plugging phone with wire. 100% recommend especially at its more affordable price point over others I've seen listed. I have checked using 1 hr drive as well and it works without disconnect. My entire family like this and we noe enjoy music once we get into my car without much effort.
