Bought for my home-grown potatoes. Good quality and value. Far larger than anticipated, but that's *my* error! There is a slight smell from them, but that's the nature of the material. There are also hundreds of little bits that come off (doesn't interfere with the sacks), so I would recommend opening them outdoors and giving them a good shake to get rid before use.

We bought these for our potatoes and they have been great.I know some comments are about how they let in the light, but we store them in a generally dark place and the potatoes have been keeping really well since they were harvested.Perfect for the job

I was a bit cautious about buying sacks online. Would they be smelly, or too tough. Or too flimsy?I needn’t have worried because they are the perfect size to store potatoes and perhaps other vegetables,they are not too strong that you can’t tie them but they are strong enough to take lots of potatoes and they don’t smell horrible so it’s all good and I would buy more if I needed more than five.

I needed hessian to line plant pots and pond planters and these turned out to be the better price for size. Cutting them open lined even the large pots, and I had some left over for use in my kitchen.

Perfect for storing potatoes over the winter. I had an issue when the sacks weren't delivered the first time but after contacting the seller they posted another set out to me the same day which I really appreciated.
