These bulbs came perfectly packaged and ready to go out of the box. Super easy to download the app and connect it to my Google hub. The only advice I can offer is make sure you carefully select your room in the Application for the bulbs. It's challenging to change this information once it's connected to the Google hub. The lights look great in my ceiling fan and match my other non-smart Edison bulbs. They were cheaper as well. I highly recommend them.

The media could not be loaded. Simply put, these are the best Smart Bulbs out there. They are classy and elegant and the app is flawless. Superior brightness, and you can’t beat the price for what you get. Serious bang for your buck! Screw the bulbs in but have the app up first, then turn them on. The app will automatically see them and instantly connect and upgrade the firmware if necessary. Super energy efficient and the smart controls are fun and helpful! The added wireless button is a plus too!

I recently purchased these Edison-style smart bulbs, and they have exceeded my expectations! The vintage look is perfect for adding a warm, classic ambiance to my space, but with the modern convenience of Alexa compatibility. Setup was a breeze – I had them connected to my Alexa in minutes. Now, with simple voice commands, I can dim or adjust the lights without getting up, which is especially convenient for movie nights or winding down in the evening. The brightness is impressive, and the color temperature is just right for a cozy yet functional light. If you’re looking for the charm of Edison bulbs with smart home functionality, these are a fantastic choice!

These are wonderful and work well with Alexa. The dimming function is great, as my fixture has four bulbs, so I only have it at 50% brightness.

I’ve had these bulbs for a while now, and first the box that I ordered arrived with a defective button —it wouldn’t connect to the app or lights. I contacted AiDot customer service to help troubleshoot it and they ended having to send a replacement, which worked well.After having everything set up with their app and Alexa, I started to notice that whenever any appliance is running at home (microwave, vacuum, fridge, AC unit, etc) the lights start to flicker or dim. It’s a little scary, as it looks like they’re possessed.Originally I thought the issue came from having these connected to dimmer light fixtures, but even after testing them with “regular” light fixtures, the problem persists. I had never had this issue with the Hue Bulbs or other smart bulbs.Although these lights look beautiful and the smart features are very convenient, the unwanted “ghost” effects whenever we use anything else around the house, make them really disappointing.**UPDATE**The company promptly reached out to me to address this issue, and offered superb customer support, as well as a refund. They explained that:"1) Our products are actually certified by FCC, and the anti-electromagnetic interference ability is in line with international standards, please rest assured.2) Possible causes of the flicker issue: Our Smart Edison Bulbs cannot be used on the circuit of traditional dimmers. If users have used our bulbs on dimmers, it may cause irreversible damage and lead to anti-electromagnetic interference ability weak, which further leads to flickering."Unfortunately, at this moment, these bulbs don't work well with traditional dimmers, but hopefully they can fix this problem in the future. I'd highly recommend the product if you don't have dimming fixtures, as they work well with Alexa and look really nice. Also, customer service has been really great.

Setting up these lights is really easy and setting up schedules and adjusting temperature and brightness is very easy. I bought these lights because I like the Edison style and because my previous lights from another vendor would not stay connected. They are not recommended for outside but I am using them as my porch light, patio light and garage lights and they work fine. (and I like in Phoenix!) I think Edison lights look great outside but no one makes any that are outdoor rated.Pro tip: My 2 garage lights are on one switch, so flipping the switch of and on to program the 2nd lightbulb became problematic because the first lightbulb would go into programming mode too. Solution: screw in one light bulb, program it and then unscrew it. Then screw in the 2nd bulb, flip the switch 5 times and then program that one. When that's done, screw in the first bulb again and you're done. I figured this out after a while. You'll thank me.Great bulbs. I'll buy more in the future if I need any.

Easy to set up and works well with the phone app. We are using them in our kitchen/dinning room light fixtures. We rececently moved into a small place. Downsizing and simplified our life. We sometimes want the light to be bright, but for our nice meals we like it to be a softer light. This did the trick. Installed and set the up yesterday morning. They work as we expected

So far not so good. First off, the light coming from one bulb is significantly more yellow than the other. Thought maybe that will change once I get it setup. But now I can't set it up to connect with the app. I believe it's supposed to blink when I turn the power on, but that didn't happen. Tried to go through the setup in the app. Won't scan the qr code. I'm not sure what generation this bulb is, so not sure which bulb I'm trying to connect. Got to the part where I sign in with my wifi info and still nothing! Doesn't help that I need a magnifying glass to read the trouble shooting instructions. I will try contacting support to avoid the hassle of a return. Not happy.
