1 x 150ml Bright Red Heat Resistant Gloss Brake Calliper and Engine Block Paint. Caliper Engine Bay

Was a little worried when applying the first coat that this paint would be thin and possibly streaky - I shouldn't have worried, the second coat brought out a lovely vibrant, warm red. It dries very well and gives a solid thick and even layer which allowed easy application of a logo decal (available on the web) as a finishing touch. Highly recommended. I think painting callipers is quicker than spraying as it avoids all the masking prep - you never know where the spray can get to - with painting you can be very targeted with a good quality 1" brush.

I found nothing to dislike with this product ,with it's heatproof quality I painted my engine rocker cover which looks great I'm very pleased

Good paint, small tin but goes a long way, I simply degreased and brushed off loose, before applying by brush. Probably needed two coats but one had reasonable coverage looks good enough for now. Don’t know how long will last due to poor preparation but as a quick cosmetic upgrade looks good until full brakes refurbished.

Used to paint an A series engine block I have been rebuilding. I have derusted & degreased thoroughly and used two coats overall. The paint is AWESOME- It forms a hard durable finish and looks really very smart. Excellent product & great price from Amazon.

I got this at the same time as a pot of black, I assumed the temp rating for all the paints was the same but it’s not. This is for a plate on a traction engine so I suspect it will fail as the temp gets very hot and this has a low temp rating

Great paint........painted my Audi A7 calipers red and added the S-line decals. 3 coats and they are as smooth, glossy and hard as ever. People who are saying this doesn't cover well or runs is because they are not doing enough coats or applying it too thick. 3 even coats about 2 hrs apart then left for 24 hrs to dry. Perfect job! Only used about 1/4 of the tin at most.

I was a little concerned when I first bought this as it was only rated to 200 C. There are a lot of twisty A-roads around me, and I have a habit of driving quickly, all legal of course, however my brakes get pretty hot at times, so hot I can't touch the wheels. I've had the paint on for around a month now, no sign of bubbling, cracking or any degradation due to heat. So i'd say your safe to put this on your callipers without heat concerns, and an engine block won't get so hot, so good there too.The paint went on easy, and two coats did the trick. I did prep the callipers first with a wire brush mounted to a drill, to allow for a surface for the paint to adhere to. I have front and rear callipers, and have enough paint left to do the callipers again about three times over.All good.
