Q: This says heats to 120F but I thought this particular one only goes to 110? Which is it?

The lower temperature range is 100°F and the upper range is 120°F. That is why we market this as it maintains an approximate temperature of 110°F ± 10°F given certain variables like ambient temperatures, what surface material the bucket is resting on, etc.

Q: Will this keep my methylamine warm?

Since the Bee Blanket warms my honey to 104° F I'm sure that it will easily keep your Methylamine toasty. But since the compounds' boiling point is just 21.2° F you might consider purchasing a cheap funnel instead. Just lay down, stick the funnel in your ear and have a friend pour the Methylamine (try not to spill) and utilize your empty brain cavity to contain and warm the compound.

Q: would this warm a bucket of water?

Sure. It will warm any liquid...this is not specific to honey. Don't expect it to be hot, though. This will warm the liquid but not raise the temperature to "hot".

Q: I used the bee blanket on a 5 gallon bucket of crystallized honey. It was on for 3 days, stirred 1x day. The bottom 1/4 bucket stayed crystallized.

If you have your bucket on the floor, elevate it or place it where it is insulated from the cold ground. Give it a couple more days and the honey will be completely liquefied.
