A few years ago such a product was not available. Namely a small unobtrusive PTZ CCTV camera, that can be used outdoors. This product purchased in a recent Amazon Black Friday sale, has exceeded expectations. The build quality is outstanding, and the picture quality in use is amazing. The PTZ function is a joy, albeit can lag a little if high quality setting use, but not a great issue. I have had much experience of disappointing software, needing much tweaking just to get basic fuctionality. Pleased to say not the case here, within an hour was able to install the software on two competers, two android tablets, and two smart phones. The software for all platforms, has an intuitive interface, and features are comprehensive. On my smartphone found I could remotely access and control the camera miles away, without any further setting other than to link to local WiFi. There are presets for favourite PTZ points, a monitor centre return, an effective motion detection and storage indication, to name but a few software features. A fantastic camera, with brilliant software - cannot recommend this highly enough.

My previous solar powered Reolink cameras had been temperamental, though simple to install, but the indoor version of the E1 was quite good, so I decided to try the outdoor version to replace a static camera for our back garden.Fortunately I had a spare socket in my shed and could mount the camera to cover the back of my property with the advantage of being able to turn it around to look up the garden.Reolink seem to have done a lot of work to improve their cameras, as the functionality is very good, with numerous options to control sensitivity, and preset positions can now have different zoom settings. Also it tracks movements and has very bright spotlights too, and now picks up movement from the other end of our drive, which means that my car is better covered when parked by the side of my house.

The picture quality is fine, and the software is straightforward to use. Live view is reliable outside of my home network, which is a vital function. I'm hoping the unit will perform just as well and survive the autumn and winter months.

I'm actually very disappointed in this product. I bought two of these, one so far seems to be fine, but this one started taking in water.I am wondering if it is related to the SD Card slot as this sits on the top of the camera when it is wall mounted. Which to me seems like a ridiculous place to leave and opening to the interior circuits, relying sorely on a rubber seal. This should be mounted on the base of the camera so any water runs off.The camera itself, the functionality, the installation, the night vision and everything around the general use of it is absolutely fantastic. I've hardwired this into the NVR and the quality is beautiful. The camera does lose a couple of clicks when it's doing a return to its monitoring point, but that's fine. You can quickly adjust that through the PTZ settings.I am ordering another one of these cameras to replace this faulty one, but I am going to place a waterproof shield above the unit to give it that extra bit protection. You shouldn't need to do this on a weatherly camera but I want the piece of mind this wont fail again!I used 112mm gutter with an end clip and screwed it to the wall, with silicone behind it to stop excess rainfall hitting the camera or snow settling on it.

this is Reolink so you get the quality and features you expect, audio (2 way) great 2560x1440 resolution, fully water proof, active tracking for animals, people and vehiclesthis camera is feature rich and there are some stand out features you don't get without PTZ capabilities:1st the flood lights at night, these mean night recording isn't done with night vision colour and quality but in full resolution colour, when the lights activate you know you are being watched so a great camera for watching the front of your house/path and door plus works as a deterrent2nd is the active tracking where the camera actually follows the subject being recorded, in day or night once it picks up movement it records and tracks the subject and does this really well, at night having the lights following you like a spot light makes people who visit the front of the house know this is not a mere flood light.3rd feature is ability to set roam points so you can set predefined focal locations and then hitting a button will move the camera to display that location, you can also set auto return times so the camera returns to original position at a certain time after following a subjectworks well with Synology Surveillance station AND as a supported camera you can also control the pan, tilt and zoom via Synology's app not just the Reolink oneif you are looking for a camera so you can view more of your property Vs a static/bullet camera then you cannot go wrong with this great little camera which is much cheaper than its big brother PTZ camera

J'utilise cette caméra pour une surveillance de l'accès à notre maison.Cette caméra est performante et très efficace de jour comme de nuit.Elle enregistre, elle peut émettre une sonnerie d'alarme, elle est équipée de led d'éclairage, bref la liste est non éxhautive.Je recommande ce produit sans problème.
