Honestly, I am SHOCKED at the quality of this eyebrow pen/pencil! I have to say that the pen side is the best “version” of an eyebrow pen I have found so far! It is a thin, fine line that doesn’t deposit any clumps and looks so very natural! In the past when I have tried to use an eyebrow pen I have gotten very frustrated because the ink will just gloop out and ruin any progress I have made. Not with this! Once the lines are filled, be sure to blend quickly if needed since this ink SETS, and I truly mean it! My brows were locked down. I actually tested this by doing them again after I washed my face at night and slept with my brows done- I woke up with my brows looking PERFECT! I don’t know about you, but for me? That’s unheard of!!! As for the pencil end , it is very nice and works just as good as other pencils I have and repurchase. It is the pen that is the standout for me! I know yet how long the actual ink in the pen lasts until it dries out, I’m hoping that isn’t the disappointment of this product. If so, I will update this review! Otherwise, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also, the color “Chocolate” is a beautiful neutral brown with NO RED tones! Another reason to love this! As you may know, a neutral shade can be hard to find, especially online! All in all, please don’t change this formula! And please don’t buy them all people- I need my subscribe and save to be fulfilled! Enjoy…..

I like that this pen has 2 sides. One is like an eyeliner texture and I use it with light pressure to fill in my whole eyebrow to make it slightly darker and fill in patchy areas. Then I use the other side that has a felt looking tip and is liquid to make realistic hair strokes throughout. I mainly use it at the fronts of my eyebrow bc its more sparse there and it looks like little hairs. Using just the eyeliner tip would make that area not look very natural and blocky. I try not to overdo it because it can get too dark and unnatural looking if I do too many strokes.

I absolutely love this eyebrow marker. To be fair though, this is my first time trying one in my brow routine so I don’t have others to compare it to. The pigment is perfect—not too dark, which is what I was afraid of. I will be buying another one in a darker color maybe :)
