Fantastic product, what more to say?
I very rarely write reviews but considered this product worthy.OK so it might be a little more expensive than other products claiming to do the same thing, but do they?Having read the reviews for all products in this category I reckoned the Provision Wireless HD Sender to be the best.I am extremely pleased with my choice and have been impressed with this product from the day it arrived.Upon opening the nicely packaged product to begin setting up, I was pleased to find generous wire lengths included for power leads and the infra-red transmitter/receiver.Note that you'll need a couple of HDMI cables; one to run from the receiver unit to the remote TV and one to run from the transmitter unit to the main TV. This doesn't detract from the quality of product in the slightest. The sender and receiver units can be placed horizontally, vertically (on the provided stand mount) or mounted on the wall. The whole system was easy to set up and the main sender/receiver units paired effortlessly. The LED's on the front of the units flash brightly whilst transmitting/receiving signals so I put both units behind the TV's to hide them completely. This had absolutely no effect on signal or picture quality.Oh, I also have the transmitter unit placed right next to my wireless broadband router with no effect on broadband or TV signals either. When you first switch on the receiver unit, a few technical details of the transmission are displayed at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds. Signal strength, signal quality, frequency, bandwidths etc. Not required but quite interesting nonetheless. My units have two walls and two TV's(!) between them. The spare room in between is used as a bit of a store room with plenty of metal objects in it.With this in mind signal strength is 60-70% with a high signal quality.Picture quality is exceptional and I have never experienced any artefacts whatsoever. The software in both the sender and receiver units can be upgraded simply by plugging them into your computer via the built-in USB sockets and connecting to the vendor's website.I have not felt the need to do this as everything has worked perfectly well straight out of the box.Nothing more to add really. I'm sure you will be happy with your choice of product if you purchase the Provision Wireless HD Sender as I have been.........and in signing off, no I don't work for Provision!

Unfortunately, these actually work pretty well ...
If you set them up right. So why 1 star?Because it didn't last long enough. Not for the premium price.Mine had to send through one internal brick wall. And an internal opaque glass window after that. Total distance transmitter to receiver around 5 to 6 metres. And that was the ABSOLUTE edge of it's range. If I moved the receiver back a foot, I started to get breakup in the picture. I also had to side mount the transmitter on my AV unit. Sat on top, the signal was no good. Side mounted, with the top pointed almost directly at the receiver (also stood on the edge stand) otherwise it broke up again. That got me 5-6 metres. But once I got it stable, the picture quality was very good. HD looked very good. A little slow starting up I guess, but not a big deal. Slight lag in the remote TV, which you would expect. Passthrough to the main TV also fine.At least, for 17 months it was.Now it's started playing up. It seems to be the passthrough that has gone. The picture to main TV will break up, flicker, go to static, break up some more and flicker some more, and then die. Power off and on and it comes back. Usually. Not always. Sometimes takes a few power cycles.Wireless still seems to be fine. Not had any problems with that. Yet.Which is pretty poor for such an expensive piece of kit. Not seen a better looking option thats wireless. And I'm not buying another one of these as I don't trust their build quality now.I'll try a splitter to see if I can ditch the local passthrough and continue to at least use it as a wireless sender. But if that fails, I'm going to a wired solution. The wireless stuff either doesn't work well enough, is too expensive, is unreliable, or a combination of the three.Pictures below (not great - quick phone snaps) show TV working normally, purple/green picture flicker - which goes to static. And eventually to black. Powercycle and hope forthe best ....** UPDATE **The sender unit failed completely shortly after I posted this review. (See comments for a little more detail) The entire thing has been binned and replaced with something else.
