Custom Molded Mouthpeice

I feel I absolutely have to review this product due to my experience with 3 different brands. I have a severe snoring problem- probably a bit of sleep apnea as well due to the snoring. By the way, I used a snore app to enhance my evaluation of all three different products. The first one I tried was ZQuiet. The concept was right on...It advances your lower jaw by 2mm or 6mm depending on which one works for you (they give you both). It definitely helped my snoring. However, because of this, it loosens and moves your lower teeth. It is not a boil and bite, so your teeth are not settled into the device. It really hurt my teeth. The second one I tried was SnoreRX. Same concept as the first, but is a boil and bite. This thing is huge! There is no way to close your mouth. You are forced to be a mouth breather. It was a bit tricky to set it up as well and was not comfortable in any way. I never slept with SnoreRX. I returned it the day I received it. Okay, so the Tranquillam...amazing! The boil and bite process was incredibly easy. It does not advance your lower jaw, but it doesn’t hurt my teeth. I can close my mouth and it is so incredibly comfortable. There is some drooling at first and a few days of getting used to it, but it stopped my snoring from the first night on. You can’t open due to the design, so no talking once it’s in, but I’m able to drink water through a straw in the middle of the night if I’m thirsty without taking it out. It is so inexpensive compared to the others. I just ordered another box of two even though my first one is still fine. I hope this helps someone. I recently tried the Tranquillam Sleep Mouthpiece, and it was a huge disappointment. The mouthpiece was extremely uncomfortable to wear, causing more discomfort than relief. The material felt cheap and rough against my gums, making it difficult to sleep through the night.Poor Fit and DesignThe custom molding process was a nightmare. Despite following the instructions carefully, the mouthpiece never fit properly. It was either too tight, causing pain, or too loose, making it ineffective. The design seems flawed, as it didn’t align well with my teeth, leading to a frustrating experience.Ineffective and OverhypedThis product did not live up to its claims. It failed to improve my sleep quality. In fact, it made things worse by causing jaw pain and discomfort. The air hole design is poorly executed, often getting blocked and making it hard to breathe comfortably.Not Worth the MoneyOverall, the Tranquillam Sleep Mouthpiece is not worth the money. It promises a lot but delivers very little. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable sleep aid.

I have tried many of these types of products to help with my snoring. Overall this one has been the best mix of comfort, ease of use and reduced snoring.I did re-mold it 3 times to get just the right fit for me. And I will say that you should be careful not to bit down too much when molding it. You want to make sure that airhole stays open fully. If you bite down to much during molding it will close up a little on the inside as the plastic piece that is used to keep the holes open should be a little longer.Once I got the right fit, it took me about 3 or 4 nights to really not "notice" it to much. I did see an increase in salvia, which is normal, but now I am managing that pretty easily.My wife has confirmed my snoring has lessened dramatically and when I do make some snore sounds, they are much less harsh and loud.I say, give it a try. It does not appear to be returnable, but I think that reflects in the price. I think it will work for many people out there.

Does kind of help with snoring (according to my wife), but it moves my teeth during the night. I wake up with jaw pain and my teeth misaligned.

After my dentist noticed signs of bruxism, he advised a sleep study and then a mouth guard made. Having no knowledge of sleep aid mouthpieces, I asked if I could simply buy one at the store. He said it would never fit right. I needed to pay him for a custom mouthpiece.After attempting another store bought one, I tried this brand out. I never had tried a customizable mouthpiece and I followed the video instructions exactly. On the first try (you can do 3), I was very pleased with how it formed perfectly to my teeth. I honestly didn't expect that good of a mouth fit.It feels comfortable and not as out of place as the others I tried.

I got this product to help with snoring as well as my tmj. I wouldn’t call this comfortable in the slightest. When following the directions exactly, my teeth barely made an indent when trying to mold it. That, combined with the weird tight curve made it super uncomfortable and bulky. In fact, it was so bulky that I couldn’t close my mouth, so it fell out while I was sleeping. Honestly, this was a waste of money. I was very hopeful with all the positive reviews, but I think I’ll just splurge and get a real custom mouth guard. You can get them for around $100 anyways.
