Another great book for your fashionista!
My wife has an affinity for fashion books, and wanted to begin growing her collection. This is the third book I purchased for my wife's collection. She loves the book, and has added it to our coffee table.The hardcover book has a great binding, as well as quality paper, and crisp images.As the title states, this is a great little book to get for your loved one as a "just because" gift. It's priced great, and with Prime you can't beat the free shipping!Amazon also has special boxes that they use for their books, so you're not getting some huge box just for a book. Good job Amazon!

Interesting and informative list
This book lists what the publishers feel habe been the most influential handbags of the last 130 years or so. From the gusseted paper bag to the Birkin to military gear, this is a fascinating read if you're interested in these accessories.

Boring!
This book was so boring. It did not have many pictures. The pictures it did have were black and white. Blah blah !

Not a lot of information
Do I need someone to tell me that the plastic bag and different military bags over the years have been used a lot? Not really. I study handbag design, and this gave me almost 0 new knowledge. Not deep enough to matter for any of the bags.

A good extra for Christmas and a neat book with adequate but not overwhelming information, good to pick up and flip through.

Arrived several days before delivery date, but one of the three books had a damaged cover, if I had been in a shop would have picked up another copy, otherwise pleased with the set of three in the series, well packaged

Lovely bags, interesting past, great reading
I am really interested in all things to do with fashion and their various eras, so really enjoyed the book and definitely recommend it, if only to see the wonderful bags, and their history.
