Absolutely fantastic clock I can’t understand anyone saying anything detrimental about this item. It looks good, and has every function one could possibly want, and sets itself up when plugged in to a socket. Even though my eyesight isn’t good I could see everything clearly on the display. The instructions are super clear and well printed. To say I’m pleased with this purchase would be a serious understatement.

The normal clock face becomes confusing to a dementia sufferer. This clock has a large very clear display and allowes a dementia sufferer to check not only the time and date but the difference between night and day.The display can also tailored to meet the needs of each specific patient. It is of great use at night when a dementia sufferer will often wake up confused and will think it is time to get up. As a carer I have found it a great help to remove one cause of confusion and as a reference to show the sufferer when they become agitated regarding day date and time.

My poor old Dad had to go into a care home after suffering a stroke and several falls. The staff there looked after him very well, but the routine was the same every day and he frequently lost track of what day it was. He sometimes woke up at teatime after an afternoon nap, looked at the time on the normal clock in the room and wondered why the staff weren't bringing him his breakfast...!This digital clock solved all those problems - clearly showing the day, date and time, along with afternoon or morning, so it was much less likely that he would get confused. In fact, he seemed much better orientated generally with it in the room. The display is bright and clear, the background and the letter colours can easily be changed. This isn't just cosmetic - but certain colour combinations are clearer if the user is short or long sighted. It can also be prgrammed to remind the user to take tablets or to do other daily tasks at the right time.Technical info - it is mains powered, but seems to have a battery backup, so doesn't lose the time in a power cut. Nice touch is that it can be set to dim the display at night and to shine brighter during daylight hours for maximum clarity.Highly recommended

Very useful clock with clear details.It clearly displays day, date, time with a variety of different colour screen options.It dims at night, but can also be turned off completely, if like me, you prefer to sleep in total darkness.The only fault I can find (which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars), is the ridiculous one-legged support on the back on the right side!I have Parkinson's, so thought it would be useful for me; but I can't grab it quickly enough when it scoots across the nightstand at the slightest touch; often falling onto the floor.I've solved the problem with a small piece of 'Stickytack' at each corner!What a shame to spoil an excellent product with insufficient support; especially as it's designed for Dementia sufferers who have even slower physical reactions.

I was looking for something for my elderly parents to help remind them of their daily tasks and would brighten their day. The idea we could add personal reminders and photos was the driver in purchasing the product. The clock was ordered and delivered in excellent time and well packaged and presented. The instruction booklet provided clear instructions well laid out and problem solving and contact details included within it.I loaded up a usb stick ( not provided ) with personal messages from the grandchildren and pictures of them, saving them in mp3 format, as per instructions. The menu on the clock is easy to navigate, and changing settings is easy to follow,Once I had decided on colour and layout of the clock interface required, I then added the usb stick and programmed the personal alarms to the times I required. I did have some questions at this point and contacted the seller as per the instruction manual. They responded promptly and answered my questions.The clock was now set up and ready to be installed at my parents home, you can unplug the clock from the mains and move it to another location and plug it in again and the information is stored and is ready to go again.My parents are very happy with the clock and has made a difference with personal reminders and photo's popping up, they feel even more in contact with us in these troubled times. The messages are easy to change on the usb stick and also to add and remove pictures. My parents like the idea they can see the time, date etc in a large format and all in one place.Alarm times can be set to last for 15,30,45 and 60 second intervals, you can also use the preset alarm reminders so you have lots of choice on what the need etc.

Good quality product. Bought for someone with Dementia. Excellent at helping with prompting re time, date day and weather. But also you can put photos on it to help with memory. Excellent piece of kit.

I was impressed that this clock came already set up and after plugging in the relevant date, time etc was already shown. It is easy to adjust and has a built in DST process so it should automatically change in March and October! My Dad will like this.
