Buy it.
After 5 years I had to retire my Tusy press and I couldn't find the exact same model anywhere! I bought a few and hated them. But then I found this one and I believe it is the upgraded version. I love this press.

Highly recommended
Very good press. Works as described and has an adjustable knob for setting the amount of pressure desired for your jobs. It’s been serving us well for years now. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Great heat press
Great heat press, I’ve had since 2018 and it’s just now not heating evenly. Haven’t had issues until now.

Well Made
Strudy, Heating consistency is very good. Takes a while to heat up, but worth the wait. Pressure is good, and easy to program.

Awesome product! I love it already. Easy to use and works great! Would highly recommend it. I'm new to using a heat press. But after the first press, I was sold.

Great reviews even outside of Amazon
I must have sat and reviewed so many heat presses on Amazon. This one had great reviews but so did many others too. I kept flip-flopping my decision and eventually landed back to the PowerPress after seeing some video reviews. I wish I had not wasted so much time trying to find the perfect economical press because this one is EXCEPTIONAL!This press does an awesome job. Sure, there is some inconsistency in the heat platen (about 10-15 degrees at times) but you are going to find this in a cheap hobbyist type of heat press. I'd worry more about the brand of HTV you decide to use and stick with the pro stuff like Siser or Color Theory.I do some pretty large graphics on my press (see photo) and it does very well so far. The 15x15 area is much better than a smaller unit.My Pros List:The PowerPress heats up very fast (about 5-7 minutes to get to 315 degrees). The adjustable timer and the "done" beep is a big help.Nice rubber on the shirt pallet HAS NO SMELL AT ALL and is securely glued on.Another selling point was the replaceable fuse and holder access if I ever needed to replace a fuse.My Cons List:It is very hard to pull the platen/handle back up after you press an item. I kept my pressure knob the same as the way it came from the manufacturer. I assume it is medium pressure but it is hard to release.I wish it had holes for mounting so it doesn't move all over the place on my table. It is not a swing-away style so you could get burnt easily when positioning your garment on the pallet. However, I opted for this style due to space limitations. That does not necessarily make this a con, just a "Beware" of how hot this is.Overall..... I highly recommend this and don't even second guess what brand of economical heat press to buy. You will be very happy with this unit if you are just starting out and looking for a cheap heat press. I also didn't want to go with a unit with all the extra attachments like a mug and hat press because I feel that one thing should do one thing very well instead of possibly several things so-so. I'd buy this all over again if I was on a budget!

Shipping was fast, quality isn't so great...
Shipping was really fast. I purchased this item on 9/7/18 and it was delivered on 9/9/18, a Sunday. I was very pleased to have it delivered so fast to surprise my wife on a weekend where she still had some time to work on some items. My wife is an experience user and has been using heat presses for a little while now. We were borrowing a friends when I finally decided to buy this one. I spent a little extra money on this one as I thought it would be nice to the Teflon coating already on the heat plate so it was one less thing that she had to worry about. The first thing my wife did was read the user manual from top to bottom and asked about the "Extra Fuse" that came with it. In the manual it says something about an extra fuse in the bag. We looked all over and didn't see the extra fuse. Good thing it worked right away.We have only had it for a few days, but she has already done a few shirts.. The temperature has it set for is 305. She started to notice that one of the shirts she did shows a little imprint on the vinyl. This was a shirt she had put an image on the back and another on the front. The imprint was on the front image and it looked identical to the back. She couldn't figure out how it was getting on there as it wasn't even lined up at the same place/area...We ended up looking at the heat press itself and saw that a lot of the shirts designs were "Imprinted" on the Teflon, which was causing it to imprint slightly on some of the other designs. I wasn't able to get an image of it as its a slight imprint, but for someone who is making shirts for other people, she doesn't want any imprints at all on there. With the machine off and cool, been off for a few hours, she tried to wipe it off with just her bare hand and thats when some of the Teflon came off. The description says "Convenient to Clean" which we didn't think that rubbing our hand on there to wipe it off would cause the Teflon to come off so easily.Pictures of the press show the view from a little distance and a closer up of the spot where it came up. Still hard to see where the imprinting was done, but if you can see the close up view you can kind of see some of the printing was happening.Thankfully I bought some Teflon sheets, due to arrive tomorrow, but as of right now I e-mailed the company to see what their response is to this situation. Just very disappointed that this "Convenient" "Attractive Appearance" device i spent a little extra money on is already having so many issues on Day 2 of light use.

Press that makes $$$
The Power Press is exactly what you need if your just starting out with DTF or pressing shirts in general. You get a machine that is built well, and very sturdy. It heats up to temp quickly, in my case it has taken between 4-6 minutes and the temperature remains consistent for the most part across the platten. For a budget press I can't really knock it in any way and I would recommend it to everyone. If I could change one thing I would want it to be a 16"x20" instead of a 15"x15" and then it would be the ultimate budget press that gets more bang for your buck than much higher priced presses.
