OtterBoxDefender Series Case for iPad (A16) & iPad 10th Gen - Black, Rugged, Durable, Multi-Layer Protection

Very sturdy case. Big fan of Otterbox for my Iphones. The stand is a bit flimsy and I could see it being easier to break. But, fingers crossed my 8 year old doesn't break it. The outer shell/stand can fit on the back or the front for screen protection. It's a tight fit and harder to get off

Super protective and very sturdy, but also weighs more. This item is used on a full-sized iPad which gets carried around a lot and perched on different surfaces. I love that it covers the screen so we don't need a separate screen protector, but still is very sensitive to touch. The corners of the case are prominent and I certainly don't worry about dropping the tablet. There is no way that the tablet can fall out of the case. However, it does make the tablet more bulky and heavier, a trade off for better protection.

If you want to prevent damage to your expensive iPad investment, then definitely buy this case with its protective screen cover. It’s well worth the price. I have dropped this iPad many times and so far no screen or body damage has occurred. I would never want to want an iPad without one.

I have had many Otterbox Defender series cases, and they have all been consistently high quality. This one is no exception. The description says 10th generation only, but it DOES FIT my iPad A16 (11th gen). The only thing I do not particularly care for with this case is the screen cover/stand. It is rather flimsy and seems more cheaply made than the one for my old iPad. I also do not know what the second cutout in the screen protector to the left of the camera is for, it is kind of annoying because it doesn’t seem to serve a purpose. Other than these things, the case itself looks great, fits my iPad A16 perfectly, and is of high quality. I would recommend this case for superior iPad protection!

The order was at my door in 2 days! It was perfectly boxed and wrapped up, in mint condition! The instructions were very simple and easy to follow and understand! In less than 5 minutes to clean the screen and attach the Otterbox case, I was comfortable with walking around with it and knew it would be completely protected if I accidentally dropped it. Which, I must add, I did drop it since getting it and I had not a mark on my iPad and the durability of the case is outstanding!! Looks brand new still!! Very much recommend this case for iPad 10th generation as I have on mine and love it!! The brand is a little more expensive than others, but I would say the quality and duration of life is a factor I always consider and I always get what I spend and more! It is light weight and easy to clean! The buttons that cover the tablet buttons are properly placed and easy to move when accessing the charging port or any other features like the buttons!

It seems like a sturdy case but I am having trouble with the stand. It is very hard to close back down. It gets stuck and I don’t want to break it

Otter box has changed , thinner clips so it more fragile, not a case to take on and off! This does have a scene protector , it does have a outer shell , like another review said “no camera holes “ it is a plus and minus, it will be extras protected but then you have to take the other shell off to take photos . It looks nice , less bulky than my last otter box case , this was a fair sale price but a long wait , in stock and more pricy , but the newest model eta is March and maybe this case will fit that for the next model buyers , my only wish is they had pieces that block the screen camera, something that moves when you want to use it , they made it little hard to add something to cover
