BKT2 - Basics of Keyboard Theory - Level 2 Paperback – March 1, 2007

I love these books for my students. They will be thoroughly prepared after completing each book over the course of the year. They cover all concepts necessary without dragging on and on. Highly recommend for teachers of young students!

This series of books is the best theory I have found. Usually start my students in this series at 6th grade and above. Beyond Book 5, they can do well in a college theory class!

I see why this was recommended to us. Not overly complicated but keeps student's attention and engagement.

The book is fine. My piano teacher pretty much skips book one and goes to book two. However, DO NOT BUY THE USED “light wear” books that Amazon sells here in this category. I received TWO 100% used workbooks. One I caught and returned. I missed the return window for the second. Really? Light wear does not mean 100% used. Happy with the book. Very unhappy with the seller.

This is a great series for theory - I would not give to a student under the age of 12. It's ver clear but not pictures for little kids and moves faster than they will play songs generally.
