How long does 2ml last for? It seems a very small quantity.
Does this treatment hurt at all?
Can I use this on my 2,5 yr old
Did you cover spots with plasters once red and popping/leaking? Think this is stopping them drying out and forming scabs.

If only I had read these reviews earlier - success!
My daughter put up with this for nearly 2.5 years. We went to the GP many times and each time they said it will go away in time, the rash spread until both arms, her side and legs completely covered. After reading these reviews, I thought I’d give it a go. My daughter said it did string for about 2 mins after application, but she would keep herself busy while I was applying it (and she did have many, maybe 15-20 on each arm, 10-15 on legs ).The bottle does look like there isn’t enough but there is and if you use the small spatula, you simply put it in the liquid and apply to 3 spots and repeat. Don’t put too much on, go with the instructions. After 2 weeks we did as instructed and binned the bottle even though there was some left. The spots had reacted so we left it there. Some died but many stayed. A month later we repeated the process but this time continued for 3 weeks. Then went on holiday so the sun had a chance to dry them out too.We had a 2 week break and then applied to the remaining (about 6) and I’m glad to report they are all gone. A few months later, the small scars are starting to fade nicely. This does work, your child will react to the sting but after 2-5 mins it’s gone. When my daughter looks back at how it was and the grief the kids gave her at school, she said it was more than worth it.I feel guilty as a parent relying on my GP, should have went with my gut and looked elsewhere sooner.Hope you have as much success as we did.

Waste of money
Used as instructed twice a day for 3 weeks no difference in the spots, gave my son a rash. Was so hopeful for it to work as the spots are on my sons neck and gets bullied for them but just made it all worse when the rash came. He gets so embarrassed by them and wearing high zipped tops all the time to hide them. He has had the spots for 9 months now and seems like nothing is getting rid of them. This stuff stinged him but we wanted it to work so much he made sure not to touch them. Such a shame but for us it was a waste of time and money.

This stuff actually WORKS
Gp advised I buy this as my daughter has molluscum. I used it religiously twice a day for two weeks and then noticed the pustules were changing shape. Before week three they had burst and left an angry red scab. Back to GP who said stop using as it had worked and allow to heal, monitor if more spring up and start again. We're on week four and complyhealed bar little red marks I think may scar. This product work amazing and I can't recover enough. The only bad thing is the applicator is rubbish. I used an old child's paint brush. It worked so much better. It is expensive and you don't get a lot but if you or your family get this annoying virus, give this a try.

Doesn't work overnight - it takes time
Couldn't recommend a product enough. It is a slow process, when i first started using it i noticed some of the spots going down very quickly, however, weeks later there was still some that hadn't gone down, this did worry me. But i promise you it's normal, some take longer than others, you will see more appear, but don't worry just keep applying twice a day. At one point you will usually see the virus pop up like a long pimple, usually after a hot shower, i would suggest not interfering with them as tempting as it is to pull them out. I would just keep applying it to all of them until they scab over, this is what I found to be the best method. As soon as you see them scab over, stop using it on those ones. I'm on my second bottle, and all of the original ones have dried up and healed, so just 5 of the new ones are now ready. It is definitely a long process, however worthwhile in the end. There will be times when you think they are just getting worse and spreading, but trust me, this is normal. Keep at it. Real results will only show after 3 solid weeks of treatment.

Can not give enough praise for this!!
I’m writing this review in the hope of helping other parents to get rid of this horrible virus! It is long but I want to help others that are suffering! We first went to the doctors with a few spots and was told to just leave them they will go on their own in 6-18 months. Within a couple of months it had spread terribly a big cluster in the crease of the elbow and from the armpit all the way down the torso and started to make its way across the stomach. This is when I knew I had to do something. I had been previously trying to treat with tea tree but this didn’t do anything! I looked at many options including molludab, but wanting to avoid this product as it contained an acid and I wanted to try alternatives. We first tried a cream called conzerol, in hand with the conzerol soap costing over £60 for the tube of cream (not a very big tube) and a further £15 for the soap... after 3 tubes (desperate to persevere and had a lot of spots) after over 6 weeks there had been no real improvement. I felt as this was the most expensive option it was the most likely to work, but I was wrong! We next tried zymaderm again, tried for several weeks as the instructions for both say to treat for around 6 weeks, but again nothing happened with the zymaderm, some would go red and inflamed as apparently they should when about to heal, but instead just got infected leaving me no choice but to pop the whole thing and then make sure we had cleaned everything with antiseptic to make sure we didn’t spread the virus further. When this also didn’t work we had our holiday to Mexico coming up in the next two months. I was so worried about the pools, damp swimming stuff spreading them further and the way people would react to the unsightly infection all over his arm and torso. This is when I relented and bought mouldab and it was the best thing I could have done. As many people have said there is the tiniest bit in the small bottle, don’t except the bottle to be full... this is something to do with legal requirements only being able to sell a certain amount of the acid that is in moludab. Again I agree with others that you can’t really see anything on the spatula, I took the little plastic funnel out the top of the bottle (it does say not to) which restricts the amount of liquid that can come out on the spatula although it probably still would have worked with out it. I applied it twice a day to all spots which was hard work keeping my 3 year old still but with the iPad and a bit of moaning we did it. He did squirm and complained that some of thr spots really stung but he got over it within a few seconds. The bottle says to stop applying when they go red and inflamed as this means they are healing but I carried on applying until the spot disappeared. It also says to stop using after 4 weeks and throw away the bottle. What I noticed was that approaching the 4 weeks my son had stopped complaining about the stinging. At this point over half the spots had disappeared so I knew I had to carry on with the treatmeant. We bought a second bottle and suddenly he started complaining about the stinging again so I think it must loose it’s potency after 4 weeks hence the warning not to use it after this time. 2 weeks into the second bottle every single one of his spots had disappeared. This was the best possible outcome, we were relieved. It took 6 weeks in all but as I said we were riddled with them and now we are not worried about baths/water/ itching and spreading and also the comments from other children and adults. If you are looking for something that really works give it a try I honestly couldn’t be happier, and even better the had all cleared up just before our holiday!! Goodness knows how long they would have continued to spread if we had not found this brilliant product! Doctors should definitely be prescribing it in all areas of the U.K. as After some research some areas do, some do not!

This is through damp towels, touching etc. Molludab does not treat the problem as in eliminates the Molluscum, the virus has to go away on its own, Molludab is like a spot stick, it dries out the MC to form a scab which goes black in the middle. I would be less inclined to use this on a child so young because it can give a burning sensation that even on an adult is painful. Before going to the expense of buying this I would speak to a practioner/doctor. However, please do not worry as stated it is self limiting, it can be for as long as 18mths and as little as 3 months. I would ensure you use wipes each time you bathe your child, try not to use the same towel, cloth etc more than once, change clothes regularly. I used derma cream for babies bottoms, as it seem to create a seal over the infected area, trying not to use to many things with astringents as baby skin is very delicate. I want to assure you this is not forever, however there is no direct cure. Let me know how you get on.
