How sharp are they? Needed for trimming bum fur on long-haired cat!

My friend uses them for trimming fur around her dogs eyes and nose - as far as I am aware she has had no issues with sharpness of the scissors

Will they be suitable for a German Shepard’s paws?

Don't be put off by the negative i can assure you that these are amazing for all types of dog and a lot safer to use you won't be at risk of cutting the pad as they have the safety tips i have used them for a few different dog's including GS just take your time and you will not have a problem i can tell you that you won't be disappointed if you buy these they are very good i use them doing my Chinese crested around his eyes with out any stress hope this helps you decide cheers
