Bastien Piano Basics for the Young Beginner Primer B Level - Two Book Set - Includes Piano Basics for the Young Beginner and Theory & Technic for the Young Beginner Books

I've used these books for my 6 and 7 year old piano students for years and I still think they are the best books for this age. I love that it's a short series (only part A and part B) and, by the time they are out of these books, they are older and ready for books that move faster.

Great book for young piano beginners. My 5 yr old son's piano teacher uses these books. He can follow along well independently when he is at home practicing. I may try to learn the piano with it myself lol.

i bought these two books for my 4 year old and she has had several lessons since without hiccups, so it's easy enough but she's also learning... and she likes the pictures and exercises.

Brilliant and easy to use. These are styled very simply and even allows my 8 year old to follow along and learn to play all by himself....with a little correction and encouragement every now and then. Couldn't ask for a better basic program.

Recommended by piano teacher, so far seems easy to learn for my 5 year old.

Needed for piano class.

Have used this in my studio and my students find it easy to follow and understand - this is a big plus.
