Will these fit the 3.15 mm Faber TK9400 pencil?

I wouldn't put 2mm lead in 3.15mm pencil, though it might work. Just buy any Faber Castell 3.15mm leads if you plan to use a 3.15mm pencil ,with the H or B degree that you need . If you need to use the 2mm leads then buy a 2mm FC clutch pencil. Otherwise if you complicate yourself you might end up with a totaly useless product or worse, you might have to go through the return process.

Are the fc 2mm hb leads fairly dark? i need them for writing, but don't want the softness and bluntness of 2b. please advise.

Yes, I use them myself but as private seller, disposing of more than i will use, as now retired. You won’t have spent a fortune trying 1 pack !
