Warren Buffett's Ground Rules: Words of Wisdom from the Partnership Letters of the World's Greatest Investor Hardcover – 7 April 2016

I'm trying to learn about equities and bonds, and teachers don't come better recommended than WB. Unfortunately this book takes his letters - very much worth while reading - and repeats the content in what seems like an unstructured way, several times. Some of the key assumptions - rate of discounting future cash, for example - are never clearly explained, and the actual numbers used - the heart of any learning about finance - are stated without evidence or justification.Download the letters themselves, from the Berkshire Hathaway site, and think it through for yourself. Then look for further explanations for the bits that don't explain themselves first time round.

Very informative. Its a little repetitive when the author repeats what is in the proginal letters but I dont see any way he could improve it. The inclusion of the originsl letters helps validate author's onsights, and the author does give valuable insights.

Definitely one of the most interesting and insightful investment books I have read. A must read for every type of investor.

This is another really good book on Warren Buffett pearls of investing advice. It is well organised in sections with some excellent quotes for Warren. Possibly a little too much repetition in some sections.

Excellent summary of Buffet's thinking and methods by Jeremy Miller and you get lots of quotes from Buffet' partnership letters. Shows how Buffet's approach evolved from Graham's margin of safety to buying great businesses and seeing them grow.

Great book with a vast insight into the mind and motives of Warren Buffet, analysed, extrapolated and detailed through his Partnership Letters, the Ground Rules.

A great read - highly recommended!
