Fantastic Driver
Replaced my Skill that was 20 years old and had helped me with a wide variety of home projects. I'm impressed with the quality and battery life. The USB is something I may never use but nice to know it's there.Rock Solid screwdriver that I'm sure I will get another 20 years out of. No reason to pay more. This is a great product with plenty of power

Excellent cordless drill
We had to replace our old drill, which died a peaceful death. I found this skill driver on the Amazon Deals page. The cost was very reasonable, and the reviews were very good. I decided this would be the replacement.It arrived the next day (thanks to next-day shipping). It comes fully together, so no set up is required. I was very pleased with the chuck - it simply screws until the drill or driver bit catches, then it locks with a click. Taking the bit out is just as easy - a simple unscrew, and you feel the click as the lock release.My first project was to rehang a very large painting. The drill went through the drywall like paper (as it should). When I realized I had to drill into a stud, it did so with no issues. Likewise, when I changed to the screwdriver bit, it took it quickly and easily. The torc controls are easy to use, so I didn't want a lot to screw into the wall and was able to ratchet it back. You also control the speed by how much you depress the trigger. Changing the direction of the drill takes one finger while you are working.Overall, this is a great value for the money.

Great drill, Skil seems to have stepped up their game.
I have all Dewalt tools, but recently was in a pinch and need a pneumatic nailer when I ran across the Skil brand at my local big box store at a very reasonable price, so I purchased it and ended up loving it. When I came across this drill, I was really only interested in an extra battery to go with my nailer, and the whole package, battery, charger and drill motor was cheaper than a single Dewalt battery, so I purchased it. when I got it I loved it so much. That I’ve been using it over my DeWalt drill. Skil has impressed me with their tools and I’m taking a closer look at them now— they’re very value priced and the quality seems on par with the DeWalt tools.
