I lost my last knife to airport security - like many others! Being a fan of carrying around a tool which you can cut bread with on a picnic, open a bottle of wine or beer or, my personal favourite, cut up an orange or apple while sitting by a picturesque canal or mountain, I really missed it. These knives are much more expensive in camping shops and when I saw this on Amazon, I jumped at it. I chose this translucent version against the traditional - and I'm glad I did! It has a very nice look and feel to it and I prefer it to the solid red version. As a knife and multi tool it's brilliant! WARNING! Like other reviewers have said this is VERY sharp! Even though I use Stanley knives in my work I was taken unawares by this demon! Slicing an apple or Orange is a delight - just don't overdo it and cut your thumb instead as I did at first. Absolutely delighted with this purchase.

I carry one of these at all times. It’s simple, hardwearing and has just the right amount of tools. Great value.

This is a great knife, so many useful tools. My family quite like camping so this is great but even in day to day situations I often reach for it (ok, mainly for the corkscrew!). Be cuareful with it, the blades are really sharp but that's what you want right ? Also, to the people who say that the "saw" tool isn't on it, I thought the same too but it is, just tucked away and hard to find unless you pull other tools out. I'd recommend this for sure. Great, quality product and amazing price.

Bought it a present for my daughter. Fits nicely in her pocket, easy to use, nice abs sharp, good utility knife.

Great little tool this. It's as well made as you'd expect from Victorinox, that is, very good. The mix of functionality it offers and the good balance with the size of it is for me just about right for around the house pocket carrying, along with the odd walk in the woods etc. Nice enough just to look at and a pleasure to use. As such it would also make an excellent gift.

It is exactly the one I got in Switzerland. Very versatile. Very adaptable. And seems to have good durability.

Nice gift for a boy or girl. Brightly coloured so easy to find when dropped etc. For the young explorer in your life. WAAAYYYYY better than buying a bloody game that keeps them on their ass all day. Inroduce them to nature's cinema outdoors. Fresh air, trees, rivers and birds. With knives.
