A cut above
An ideal accessory for sharpening secateurs, being a good size and thickness to be comfortable in the hand and coming with instructions on the three styles of movements needed to be used to restore a sharp blade on gardening tools, which I found very handy, being unaware of the circular, side edge and back motions needed to complete the job properly.

On the pricey side but does the job beautifully
Other reviews have commented how small this is, but it's the right size for working on secateurs and very quickly brings a dull blade back to life if you follow the simple instructions. I've also used it successfully on branch loppers and garden shears; it may have other uses I haven't thought of yet.

Cutting edge tool!
However good your secateurs are - and Felco's are the best I've ever had - they need to be sharp and this little tool is the answer. it's very easy to use and does the job like a dream, not only for secateurs but also other cutting tools.

Great Buy!
This is a really good quality whetstone which is excellent for sharpening my garden secateurs. It's a sturdy and made of metal - much, much better than other varieties on the market.

Easy to use sharpener for garden tools
So far used this to sharpen secateurs and hedging shears. Straightforward & effective - i found watching YouTube instructional technique videos useful, but there are badic instructions printed on back of packaging.

Great bit of kit and very handy.
I purchased this to sharpen a single set of secateurs, I have now sharpened a couple of pair of garden shears and several pairs of scissors and my other half just told me to sharpen the knives in the kitchen.Great bit of kit and very handy.

Functions well, bit expensive
Worked well on secateurs and larger branch lopper. Used regularly after tools have done work. Very nice durable item. A bit expensive.
