This is a very rugged and well built item. I was very impressed, it's well worth the money. It doe's not have very good beam quality, it has a spread of 1' at 100 meter's. However this is NOT a laser pointer. This is a 50 Watt Class 4 laser, and does NOT meet FDA regulations on lasers.

Love the interchangeable pattern caps. Very strong, will pop a balloon from 10 feet away and will burn you if you put your hand in front of it, so don't.

The batter doesn't last very long.

I use this product mostly when camping and rock climbing, it's slot of fun.

the first one sent batteries didnt fit. Amazon sent the second no problem as long as I mail the first one back. Put the batteries in and wow, what a bright lazer. INCREDITABLE!!!

The media could not be loaded.  This light is super bright and dangerous to use around kids or people I turned it on a couple times in home and it was too bright after turning it off I could still see the laser outline in my eyes from just pointing it at the wall so I do recommend using safety glasses.Comes in a nice case includes safety glasses which I used and after using in my vision everything was green for a good min or two also has battery charger and different textured light add ons.

First off, this thing is REALLY cool, but it lacks in all types of safety instruction, labelling, and overall heads up on what you've just ordered. It's big, like mag-lite flashlight big. Which is cool because it's like a lightsaber, but not something you can keep in your pocket.Secondly, I opened this, knew not to point it at anything that could be destroyed, and just clicked it on the foam insert of the case it came in. One click on and a click off and the foam was SMOKING from where the laser contacted it. Scary stuff and glad I didn't point it at my clothes or carpet. Still, pretty cool.Also, the 5 caps it comes with really make LARGE designs, which is neat! However, it's important to read the minimal instructions that do come with it. The Laser can only be on for a MAX of 5 minutes, and needs 2 minutes to cool down after.Overall, I'm glad I got this but I'm also slightly afraid of it - enter at your own risk!
