This is the highest of the highs. I would recommend it to my friends, family, and the family dog.OK, This might seem a pointless review as I didn't use the handle for a file. However, this might give someone ideas about other uses for the handle.I bought a bug zapper for the balcony that I wanted up near the ceiling and didn't want a cord dangling below it. I bought some inexpensive chain. installed some hooks and up it went. The zapper is rechargeable and has to come down on occasion...It was a pain to put the small end of the chain through the mounted hook and I kind of wanted an old-fashioned outhouse style handle. This was perfect. The chain fit snugly into the hole, added a bit of gorilla glue and voila! A decorative handle. Its very well made and sure to last for years. Great price, too!

I love this type of file handle it has always been my favorite since I was a kid and I have lots of files. They were well priced and arrived quiclky.

Used two of these to make grill cleaners. Works great.

Good fit,easy to install,fits nicely in a person’s hand.

This wooden file handle is effective and comfortable. It comes with a hole to accept the file tang. Bigger files have larger tangs- and it is impossible to know which handle fits which file. I bought 3 different models, and sure enough - one fits perfectly, and I have two spares to use later. Never use a file without a handle, the tang could easily penetrate your hand. billooltewah

Great feel & quality.

These things are great. I like to keep a couple laying around all the time. I use them as handles for chisels, files, draw knives, anything that needs a handle. I have used these on chisels for decades. I have one on a 3/4" firmer chisel that I have been using with a mallet for 40 years and because of the domed end, the wood is not split nor even mushroomed.

Good delivery and everything was great.

The E model handle is much larger. This will need to be drilled out some for a good fit. 10 inch mill smooth.Lower cost than a E model handle.
