Does the job
You can spend an awful lot on this rather basic keyboard essential, so this one is well priced and does the job. Glad that it is Roland's own product (it goes with a Roland keyboard) as hopefully it will be of a similar build quality. So far so good!Neat, solid, portable. And it works.

Effective and good value.
A good and inexpensive little instantaneous (non-latching) footswitch, which is configured push-to-break. I bought two of these to supplement my existing one, which I use for stopping and starting my old Roland TR505 drum machine and also for channel-changing and/or effects-switching in my Cube 60 amplifier.I've had my old one for 20 years or more and it still works perfectly after what must be getting on for half a million presses. The only thing that went wrong with that one was that the attached cable itself suffered an internal break after a few years, so I removed it and installed a jack-socket in the housing so that I can use any old lead with it. But this was with very heavy and continuous use and I intend to be more careful with the new ones when re-coiling the cable after use.If it does what you need it's much better value than, say, a Boss FS5-U.

Compact and sturdy
Great little accessory for my Roland BR600 portable recording studio which I also use as a preamp. Not tried the foot switch it at a gig yet but it works fine when practicing.

Compact and excellent value
I bought this as a sustaining pedal for my Roland GO Piano. I just plugged it in and it worked. It is compact & sturdy and comes with a long cable - it is also very good value.

Better than the competitor's
I expected this to be of a similar standard to other cheaper hold pedals but it is far superior, robust and most importantly is designed not to move.Obviously not as good as a premium model, but of all the cheaper ones I have tried this is the best.

junk - this is not the old style roland pedal
junk - this is not the old style roland pedal - polarity reversed so unusable - by the time i unpacked and found this out it was too late to return. EXTREMELY disappointing for what masquerades as a Roland product
