WeedolRootkill Plus Weedkiller, Battery Operated Power Sprayer, 5 Litre

The weed killer does kill the weeds but I have found the spray gun easy use to install but have found that it does not spray very good.

Killed the weeds ok. The battery powered applicator is great, easy to direct and saves bending down when applying.I've kept the container once I'd used it all up and now put white vinegar in it which is about £4.50 for 5 litres and kills the weeds just the same.

Ive used the small bottles before and it kills everything green after two weeks including bindweed, while leaving surrounding plants mostly unharmed. Decided to upgrade to deal with a large patch of nettles and bindweed and been completely let down by a terrible spray head. The large bottle seems to lack the wide spray option and is impossible to aim when using the narrow spray setting.

I've bought Weedol weed killer many times and it certainly does its job killing the weeds. Spray the weeds on a dry day and by the following day, everything is starting to die. You don't need an enormous amount for it to be effective either.Rather than buying the 5 litre container and then having to transfer it to a bottle with a spray attachment, I thought I would pay more per litre to buy this 3 litre bottle that I could spray onto the weeds directly. Unfortunately, despite trying for several minutes, there is just no way that I could get the spray attachment to work. I could barely get even a drop of weed killer out of the spray attachment. Therefore in future I'll stick to buying the larger container that is cheaper per litre, and will pour it into my own spray bottle.

We have found that this brand is the most efficient and fastest weed killer, and have used it over many years.

Update: it’s been a week since I applied the weedkiller.. small successes on some of the weeds but the bindweed is totally unfazed and there are still clumps of green on my driveway. Given the spray didn’t work and I’d poured the weedkiller into the gaps.. you’d think it would’ve worked better (I used the entire 3L!), however, the result was just mediocre. Steer clear, not very impressive.It’s been less than 24hrs since I applied the weedkiller on my driveway so too early to say whether it’s efficient or not... however, the application process was unbelievably frustrating. The spray head was the kind of useless pump that required 10 pumps in order to get a pathetic drizzle out, I had terrible repetitive strain in both hands and frankly just could not continue with it. I ended up pouring the weedkiller into a watering jug and pouring onto the weeds. Avoid this cheap, useless spray if you can, in light the 3L bottle with the pull out flexible spray, so angry at how rubbish it was.
