Great little instrument! Love mine!
Great little whistle!!!! I bought this as the first one i got elsewhere was so squeaky and the holes were hard, so I got this to try again with, and I am so pleased I did! Was looking at several penny whistles on here, and I bought this one as I loved one of the reviews (mentioned that it was good although an audience of rats now followed them!) which made me laugh and settle on this one. It is so easy to use, and once you get the breathing down and a bit of practice in there it is great fun and you can get a wonderfully large selection of tunes from it. Marvellous little instrument that is easy to take around with you in your pocket or bag for when the mood strikes you. :)

A Good Whistle!!
I’m a beginner player. I found the whistle has a warm tone, is easy to play and will go to the second octave easily. A good buy.

Its not bad for the money
I bought this Walton purely because I was curious to find out what they were like as I had never tried one before, and it was very inexpensive. Its not that bad, but the tone is not the best I have heard, and I certainly wouldnt describe it as “mellow”.Out of all the whistles I own its not the one I would reach for when I want to play something. If I wanted to use a D whistle I would go for my Dixon or Wild, but then they were a lot more expensive and you would expect them to be better. I now keep the Walton in my car to play when I am stuck with nothing to do.

Good whistle
Blow in , noise comes out , just what I wanted for a child who doesn't live in my house . Not sure his parents would give 5 stars though

A very good quality product for the money
I've been playing the tin whistle for 45 years. I bought this to replace one that was lost. It has a lovely mellow tone and plays perfectly in tune through both octaves. A very nice little instrument and an absolute bargain!

Good for starting
I took a random notion to try playing and found plenty of sheet music online, which was easy to understand with no prior knowledge. Really good value for new hobby

Quite breathy, but expected for this price
The whistle is not tunable, but holds the notes well. Even after warming up, the sound remains quite breathy. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it may do great for someone looking for this kind of sound. For the money invested, it is a nice toy to play with, without too many expectations.

Works perfectly! Great way to pass the time
As soon a it arrived I tore into it and started trying to play some tunes I heard as a child! Great for any musical minds to play with.
