Product is excellent. Could do with a way of keeping the microphone cover on better but other than that, it works well with my iPhone SE. Huge cord length so you can stand well away from camera if needed. The customer service from this company has been first class. I had a small problem with original order. I contacted them and they immediately offered to replace the item. They kept in contact with me throughout the discussions and were never less than helpful. Super impressed. If only other sellers were like this. You can buy with complete confidence from this company.

So far excellent results and much much better than the Boya version of this which I bought and had to return. The construction is very similar to the Boya, including the badly designed battery compartment. It is VERY difficult to get the battery out.I fitted the foam cover and clip and tested it clipped to my clothing. I have used it with both smartphone and a video camera and the sound was clear and full range without any noticeable muffling. I can't say how low the hiss levels are absolutely, but they were very low and not something that stood out at all.Overall very pleased to have paid that little bit more for this over the similar Boya.

Really good quality mic. Very happy with it.My only complaint is the length of the cable, it is very very long.As it is a clip on mic, my sound recorder is in my back pocket. And however overweight I might be. It is not more than 5 metres from my neck to my bum.

I bought this to record audio with my Atomos Ninja V, I needed an active or powered microphone.The Maono AU-100 gives reasonable loud clear audio but when no one is speaking their is some constant electrical noise in the background. I'm not sure the wiring is electronically protected fromqoutside interference.I don't get this with the the same equipment if I use my wireless mics so I am sure its the lapel microphone.Maybe they are just too cheap for the job, it's a shame because they are nicely made and presented.I probably couldn't use them on a pro job.

I think Amazon should give me a brand-new one of these mics as this one works okay for 10 minutes and then it kept making a crackle crackle noise at the wire ends of the microphone and then all of a sudden the audio cut out and the microphone was completely dead after 10 minutes of use never had anything breakdown as quick as that in my life I think Alison should really and truly replace the unit for me free of charge and I only had it 10 minutes

!!!! On One Plus 6 doesn't work !!! Was thinking maybe is broken and I tried on laptop and was OK. But, i bought it to you se on my smartphone and no luck. I'll try to find adapter hope will help if not I will send it back.

Good quality mix with good wind protection, but if the button gets knocked, it won’t record sound if it’s half way between settings or the wrong setting. It’s been quite easy to knock and have on the wrong setting and I have missed a few recordings because of it

Great product - works really well and we’ve developed great videos with much better sound quality by using this external microphone.
