Good for wood
Works well on wood. Says suitable for steel, but wore out after first hole.

The first item came but there was nothing in the package . Company sent a replacement out the day after . All was fine . Thanks for you quick response

They do the job well, and time will tell regarding longevity, - but so far, so good. I'm expecting their performance to last, as with most Bosch products.

Works for sheet stainless steel
Only needed to countersink a dozen screws in sheet stainless steel (couple of mil. thick) which it handled effortlessly. Beyond that and longevity I can't say but did what I needed it for and it doesn't look like I've even used it so should be good for future use.
