A well designed device that reconnected the internet to the house after a scything mishap.

Good quality
I am using these to connect a radar network cable with proprietary moulded plugs on, that I had to cut to route through my boat. The connection is very positive and set up so you can use standard wiring in both plugs. The rubber gaskets are a little soft so you don’t need to over tighten the ends, but I don’t consider that a problem. I am confident that they will keep the water out.

It's OK, but won't fit all sizes of RJ45 connectors. It won't fit large ones only small ones, so beware. It seems water tight though.

V easy to use
Superb bit of kit just be careful when you tighten it as it can twist the cable alot. Bit of lubrication stops that.

Ran a cable to my garage. Cable reel ran out half way. Knew I should have followed the planned route. Too late, cable clipped to walls now. Too lazy to redo.Oh well, bought this, connected two cables together, wrapped liberally in self-amalgamating tape, now pretend it isn't there.All packets delivered successfully, none wet.

Quick connection and weather proof.
I used this to repair a cctv ethernet cable out side.Well constructed with cable grommets each end to adjust for cable thickness.This as a through socket in the center so only had to make both ends off with normal ethernet crimp plugs job done.Saved me time and expenses of replacing the cable run of 50m .Item is strong and sealed tight when completed.
