Kelly Hoppen Design Masterclass: How to Achieve the Home of Your Dreams Hardcover – 21 Nov. 2013

Great book. If you are stuck on how to even start decorating a room/house then this book gets you on the right track. Takes you through step by step so that the whole task doesn't become too overwhelming. We have just extended our house so this book tells you where to start (hallway) and how to start making connections with other rooms. Her design style isn't my taste, too beige and hotel foyer for my liking. The illustration are of her past clients houses so no expense spared. However she refers to them from a design perspective and shows how she has put theory into practise. She doesn't tell you what colours to use but more how to use them. Fab book, found myself reading it page to page rather than as a reference book.

For our team of Interior Designers and Home Stagers, Kelly Hoppen's Design masterclass has proven a fantastic current trend indicator for these too very demanding industries. As with any true professional, Hoppens'meticulous methodologies are clearly perceived by her photographs, detailed floor plans, written explanations and her unique user friendly approach to understanding interior design. A fantastic tool for any interior designer. Actually, for all interior designers and aspiring ones. Bravissima!

Bought this for my girlfriend as a present and she was not disappointed. The photos and ideas are great in general. Some of it is only really achievable if you have deeper pockets than we, or if you're starting from scratch rather than doing a bit of DIY. Still worth a good read though.

I was expecting a bit of a coffee table book, and indeed most rooms are outside normal people's budgets, but the design principles behind the illustrations are clearly explained, and there is a lot of very sensible and practical advice on planning and organising refurbishment works. The author has been generous in sharing her experience.

This hardback book is beautiful. It helped me create a beautifully decorated neutral home and has amazing tips that can be done on any budget. And now that my home is more or less designed it doubles up as a great coffee table book! My friends love having a flick through when they come over.

I have several Kelly Hoppen books and I think this is definitely the best. Lots of ideas and beautiful rooms. The rooms have clearly cost lots of money, but there are loads of ideas to steal to get 'the look' . Highly recommended!

For anyone familiar with the Kelly Hoppen style this book is very much true to her brand and well worth a read. For those unfamiliar with her style it's a classic look of muted neutral tones but in no way bland due to her inclusion of textures and key pieces to define the look and add accent
