CalypsoAll School Day Long Sun Lotion SPF 40 | 150ml | Water Resistant Sunscreen

I was slightly dubious about using a once a day lotion but having found numerous different repeat application creams and lotions nothing but trouble and still managing to get burnt I decided to give it a go on this years summer holiday to Spain. Wow..I have to say I would never go back. The best tan I have had ever with no hint of burning and the tan seem to last so much longer when I had got home. I had reservations about using it on the children but went for the 40SPF and did apply on at least 2 occasions for the first couple of days (just to be safe) but they had no problems whatsoever and of course when used with sensible sun time management I was extremely confident after 2 days in, that this cream was protecting them ever so well. They all had a beautiful golden glow after the holiday so this stuff had really done the trick. I myself used the 20SPF and again applied a couple of times in the first few days but probably didn't need to. Kids had no problem with the smell although I did find that the 20SPF was a lotion rather than a cream and this would take your breath away when applying to the face area but only lasts for seconds and dries in nicely. a Great product all round, If you haven't tried it then make the switch with confidence that if used sensibly this will provide great protection and give a healthy looking tan.

I really like this suncream. I've used it for the last few years. I feel it's reasonably priced for a high factor sunscreen that lasts for for several hours. I will apply this before my children go to school and I've never noticed they have ever been sunburnt when I collect them in the afternoon. I also buy this for my husband who works outside all year round. In the hotter days he does sometimes apply twice for extra protection. The cream is quite a thick consistency so you do need to work it into the skin for it to disappear. It's smells fine as well. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this as my son isn’t allowed to take sun lotion to school with him, and so I needed a sun lotion that would last the whole school day.This one goes on fine, doesn’t feel any greasier than any other sun lotion I’ve used, and most importantly, it seems to be working for the whole day, as he hasn’t come home sunburnt (on the scattered random heat wave days we get).Smells really nice, like banana foam sweets! Even the two year old lines up to have it put on!As with other sun lotions, it does seem to stain the collars of the white school polo shirts with faint yellow marks, but as I have to buy new ones every September anyway, this doesn’t bother me for the last few weeks of the school year.

Good for 5 year old and dries quick. Not greasy at all but the lid doesn't shut so won't be able to take out the house

This is amazing stuff!!! It truly provides all day protection, and doesn't need topping up. Although we top up after swimming.It goes on easily and is by far one of the better smelling all day sun protections. Almost a bubblegum type scent which my kids love.I'm very fair skinned and this works for me for a good 8 hours in the sun.Definitely recommend.

I really like Calypso sun cream because it smells nice, goes on well and lasts longer than other creams. In very hot weather and when swimming a lot, I have had to reapply, but in the UK where we don't have many hours of sunshine, one application is all it takes for the day. It is also safe for the kids to use, meaning we can apply before school in the morning and I am not worrying about them burning during the day. The only thing I would love even more was if Factor 50 was available.

Super. Really nice smell and none sticky. Easy to rub in, no white marks.

This cream has been recommended by loads of parents so decided to give it a try, specifically for school days. Works really well - absorbs well into the skin despite being quite thick on application. Love the scent and most importantly my so. Doesn’t burn with it on. Stains are also much less of an issue on white school polos. Really impressed would highly recommend.
