Jabalina Hot and Salted Tamrind Flavor Candy

Purchased these to use in home made mangonadas. (which were an epic fail by the way LOL!) The tamarind straws are about half the height of those you would receive in a mangonada from a boba tea shop, but for our purposes, they were fine as we were making them in rocks glasses and not tea glasses. The taste of these, when you bit into one initially, is a little off, but the more you eat, the "must" taste (for lack of a better word) dissipates. I've never purchased these before, so I have nothing to compare them to but I think there might be better quality ones out there but these were priced in my budget range. I'm not sure I'd purchase them again, but we'll use them up until they are gone, at least until we get the mangonada recipe right. :).

A Mexican restaurant down the street uses these in some of their cocktails. My kids always beg for them. Soooooo, I bought them a bucketful and they loved them!:) these were shorter but just as tasty and fresher, will buy more.

I think its worth the money they are good just wish there was a little more flavor. They are not spicy at all but still good.

This is very addictive, one of my faves. You won't regret getting this. So yummy!

Love these except they go stale too quickly and they get stuck to one another the tamarind gets dried out I wish they had the individually wrapped ones but I can’t seem to find them anymore

I honestly wanted it to be saltier and spicier, but it was ok.
