arrived in perfectly fine condition, nothing wrong. fit on my window sil perfectly. tried and test it for slightly more than a week and half of my seeds germinated, pleased with the results. can't wait to see my other seeds germinate too. I wish there were timer or temperature control tho but it does the job perfectly.

I purchased this last year to replace my 100 x 60cm home made propagator in my greenhouse. What a difference it made, to say the least the results were excellent, 99.5 of my seeds germinated compared to about 60% that used to germinate in the greenhouse.The product arrived well packaged without any damage. The power cord was a little short, not a problem, I removed the plug top, replaced it with an inline torpedo switch, and added an extra metre of cable. Another small problem were the 85mm x 155mm seed trays, they had no divider inserts. Again not a problem, I manufactured them myself. Using 2/3mm plastic from an ice cream carton I made dividers to suit.I have given the product a well deserved 5 stars, the above modifications were no fault in the products manufacture or design, they were modifications that I made myself.

The propagator works but some parts of the tray are warmer than other parts which surprised me a little and I did after reading the reviews expect it to get warmer than it does, however the seeds in the tray have germinated quicker than similar seeds left in the greenhouse. Time will tell if the investment was worth it if it`s still working in future years.

Arrived in plane box and undamaged. The base is sturdy and fits on the windowsill, trays are OK for domestic quantity of propagation. The vent opener on the lid could have been a little bigger as it's tricky to close it off but I may use a bit of blue-tack to overcome this, the lids are brittle (but they usually are) but you could order more from the manufacturer and trays. No controls but it's no hassle to unplug it on sunny days when you can use solar for free! It's obvious it's working as the lids show condensation and the base is not cold when touched. But I will invest in a probe so that I can unplug more effectively. Brilliant propagator and perfect for my needs.

This is either on or off, I believe, so there is no control to the temperature exactly. I have managed to fit two onto my windowsill, and so this has expanded my propagating area. The green pods, seem small, but are perfectly fine for the first stage of propagation, and I would buy again. The humidity control on top of the pods, is very useful.

This is the first time I've used an electric propogator and I'm very pleased with the quality and size. Normally I'd used just trays on the windowsill for greenhouse crops, but this fits nicely on there and has reduced the germination times considerably with a gentle heat from the base, (it depends on the quality of the compost and seeds of course). Cucumbers 2 days, water melons 4 days, tomatoes 4-6 days and bell/chilli peppers (so far) 7-8 days. In my experience the latter can take 3-4 weeks. The cable is a bit short (fitted with a 5 amp fused plug) as it is only 13 watts, so I used an extension cable and circuit breaker, as it's going to be used continually for the next few weeks. This is the only slightly negative comment I can make. It is supplied with 7 trays and lids, the latter with an adjustable vent. I highly recommend this product.
