Pleased with the results
Having read the reviews of this PainGone pen, I was a little sceptical - it seems it either works for you or it doesn't. I seem to have fell lucky, it definitely works for me. I suffer with knee pain and lower back pain. I've used it on my knee's and it has made a difference straight away. I didn't press it for as many times as the instructions say, I only press 25 times. I haven't used it on my back yet but I don't see why it won't work. I also used it on a stiff shoulder that I've managed to pull a muscle in, it has been slowly healing but was still quite painful, this pen takes the pain. It's also simple to use, just place where the pain is and press, the pen will click and you'll feel the click on your skin, it's not painful but you do feel something. Also when the effects start to wear off, you can use the PainGone pen as often as you like. In the instructions is a chart of acupuncture points, just be careful - I've just tried a few of them and - ahh yes, you can feel if you have found the acupoint - just go carefully.I'd recommend this PainGone pen.

Fight pain with Pain! Works but it's quite painful to use!
My knee was giving me hard time and since none of the painkilling creams etc. worked, I decided to give this Pain Gone pen a go. Well I received it quickly and at first I was little bit unsure how this thing can even work. Well after using it couple of times I can now tell it does work, but it ain't the most comfortable devise to use. How it works is basically you put the pen agains your the skin you want to get "fixed" and press the button on the pen like 30-40 times. Each time you press the button the pen gives you a small electric "needle punch" that will give your brain a message to send some help to relieve the pain. This tiny "electric punch" isn't that bad at first but after you go over 10 presses, you will be surprised how uncomfortable this pen can be. For me reaching those 30 or even 40 presses is quite difficult since I simply wanted to stop by the time I reached approximately 20 presses. In some sense it's amazing how much "power" this pen has but overall this is basically "fight pain with pain" treatment method. It works but it ain't the most enjoyable way to get rid off the pain for sure. I will definitely use it again if needed but this isn't something that I would like to use on day to day basis, this is more for those occasional pains that needs a quick fix.

Totally useless do not buy!
I bought this as I suffer lots of pain in my back and leg. Firstly it is very difficult to use on your own back as you have to be a contortionist to get your arm around your back and hold the pen correctly then press(with some force) whilst in this contorted position ! Furthermore it has no effect whatsoever apart from pain with every click! I tried it a couple of times to no avail so asked for a refund on the grounds it was either faulty or just a useless product but the company have a no returns/ refund policy! ( Funny that!)I am now trying to appeal to Amazon as they should not be allowing these companies to sell their defective products! I am beginning to mistrust Amazon more and more as this is the second item I have now purchased on the premise that the company is reputable only to find its more useless Chinese land fill ! 😡

Just arrived
Okay, so this just arrived, and until I unpacked it had no idea how it works.1) It doesn't mention electric shocks anywhere on the page here, I thought it was some kind of impact type device since a spring was mentioned. But idm I thought I'd give it ago.2) the other thing that isn't mentioned is having to press it 30-40 times, no wonder people have problems with it. You could get an automatic one which is easier. I was imagining a once aim and click device.3) Importantly, they also don't tell you you have to hold the metal ring at the top, they do say grip it but they don't say why... it's because you will short circuit it and shock your hand instead. But due to certain angles of applying on your back for instance it might be hard to grip that ring and the temptation to use two hands is there. That will stop the shock going where its supposed to.4) I noticed if you hold the end away from the skin you get more of a shock, and previously I thought pressing into the skin was better, to go deeper. However it still may be, maybe the shock goes deeper and it's the neves at the surface which feel it more. Does anyone know?I can see how it might work, stimulating recover responses. But the click is quite loud too, it's not something you could sit around in an office using. 14 Dec I'm divided at present but will see how it goes. If it works, then an automatic one may be better.

... in my wrists and thumbs which can be very painful. My physiology mentioned paingone to me and said ...
I have some osteo arthritis in my wrists and thumbs which can be very painful. My physiology mentioned paingone to me and said several of her clients recommended it. I decided to give it a go - I would give it more than five stars if possible! It is amazingly effective. The sensation when using it is uncomfortable but the result is worth it. I started using it at least twice a day - morning and before bed. Also if needed in between. Over the past eight weeks of using it I have realised that I am using it less - some days not at all - as the pain has gone so significantly. I now use it just to control any painful episode. I have also noticed a significant increase in mobility in the joints. I would recommend anyone with similar specific problem areas. I particularly liked the fact that it is non- drug, non-invasive - just a bit tingly!
