FEINZER Universal Knife Block

Awful. It arrived damaged. There was a big gap in the base of the wood. The glue in between the little sticks and the plastic holding got broken. They separated. Also, the thing was very dirty when it arrived due to poor packaging. I would say it's a good product and it's nicely made however the company needs to seriously change their delivery packaging. It came in a box but there was plenty of room for it to hit the walls and get damaged.I ended up gluing the plastic base and the plastic sticks. The gap in the wood is still there and isn't visible when you put it up against the wall.In order to teach the company a lesson I am giving the product 1 star. Seriously, you can make a good product but cannot be bothered to package it properly. Very disappointed.

This is a super well made knife block. It is a lot heavier than I though and looks very smart on worktop of my kitchen. The freedom rods keep the knives well apart and I am sure they well not blunt them as much as a normal wood block will. The fact that the rods can be removed and cleaned in a dishwasher is also a good point as how often have youbeen disgusted by the slots in a wooden block

This is the first time I have ever reviewed any purchase but I am because this is such a good product. The photos don't do it justice and it looks far more expensive than it was.The block can easily take long knives such as carving and bread knives and I have 4 large knives and 4 smaller cooks knife and paring knives and I could get another 2 smaller ones in too.I spent a lot of time looking for a block that wasn't too big but also looked good. This does both. I recommend this product.

It is a great item for my knives. The colour resembles the one in the description picture meaning that it is a little bit on the yellow-ish side which is perfect for me as it matches my oak counter top. Make sure to watch for a special price and order it if you need one.I did loose 4-5 string that hold the kives from inside it when washing and handling it but it was to be expected, same happened to other knife holders.

A really nice, smart, attractive, well-made product. It's easily accommodating my ten knives plus a pair of scissors and would have room for more. I hadn't seen any of the 'universal'-type knife blocks in the shops, so I was a bit sceptical, but it's very practical and an impressive-looking item, with a lovely finish. One thing to note – it has little rubber anti-scratch pads on its base, and on mine these make it slightly unsteady; I might remove them. Still, full marks for a very well-designed and nicely manufactured product.

Have had mine for about 3 years. Such a useful addition to the kitchen. It keeps knives safe , use it for kitchen scissors also. It is sturdy, has never tipped over and looks good too.

probably fit about 5-6 knives in it? bought 2 for housewarming gifts, looks great but one of them the base was loose on the plastic insert - just glued it again. Not sure how well it might last though...... otherwise happy enough.

Great holder but if you have a knife that is thick it doesn't work well as the black plastic only has a certain amount of give and mine is now a tad wrecked due to a thick edged Japanese knife I use. I do still use it though and have attached a magnet to the back of it for my thick knife. Can't complain for the cost!
