Super moisturising soap base
First of all, what a fantastic delivery time - ordered it yesterday afternoon and it turned up this morning. This is a lovely creamy soap base, very kind on the skin and suitable for all the family. I've been using it for years and find it easy to work with.I am making a big batch of soaps to give out as Christmas presents as I am skint this year. I have a batch of scented oils already so this will make a lovely homely, and most importantly in these austere times, cheap gift which is made with love and good intentions.I'll put the soaps in sisal bags which can be used as body scrubbers, and they can hang up in the shower.Lovely jubbly.

Really good soap base, so easy to work with!
I wanted to make some soaps as small gifts for colleagues this Christmas, but I got caught out time-wise and wasn't able to make them all from scratch. I found this soap base and thought that it would be perfectly fine to use that, and then just add some fragrance or something. One box ended up making me a tonne of soaps! Six of the usual soap bar size, four about half that size, and then roughly 20 small fish-shaped ones and 20 small heart-shaped ones. I used silicon ice cube trays and then one tray intended for soap making (the soap bar type with a tree on it).I added a few spoons of shea butter to the mix. For some of them I also added a small spoon of coconut oil.The only fragrance I used was some mint oil in the big bars and the little fish. I didn't use any dyes as I quite like the neutral white of this soap base. For the small bars and the hearts I didn't use any fragrance, but just sprinkled a bit of dried lavender in the molds before pouring - I think they came out well.I made the soaps in the evening and the next morning they were ready to go, so this was a really quick way of getting 20+ small presents ready in no time! Ideal if you want to make something yourself but don't have all the time in the world!

It's perfect for winter dry skin
This soap is so moisturizing and hydrating. It's perfect for winter dry skin. The best part is that it is all natural. My skin has become so sensitive that I can't use synthetic soaps anymore. That's what lead me to research making soaps. Although a little skeptical, I went ahead and watched You Tube videos to learn about the process.I got it in the mail yesterday and could not wait to melt it and make some soaps to give to my coworkers as an inexpensive gift for the holidays. I added rose oil and vanilla. They smelled amazing. In addition, I put dried rose petals in the molds with the melted soap. They came out so well. The whole prep process took me less than 15 minutes. That's great!!! Plus, they had hardened within 20 minutes of putting the liquid in the molds. Perfect for last minute homemade gifts.
