No use in the Rain!
This coop looks really nice in the sun, but certainly not suitable for the Scottish weather! I've been foolish buying this coop because I should have known that the wooden pop hole door would swell in the damp, wet weather we so frequently have here, and hence make the door impossible to close at night. So, after just 2 days with rain, it's rendered useless until I figure out a way to replace the door with something I can actually use. Hinges have broken off already, and the wood is so soft there is no purchase for the screws any longer. I am very disappointed, and angry at my own stupidity. I'd recommend only using this coop if you are going to keep it within an outhouse or shed where it won't get wet or damp. I've had to tie the door with rope tonight, wrapping it around the coop, to make sure my hens are safe over night. Heck knows how I'm going to fashion anything for the future. Mind working overtime. No, my advice... don't buy it. Looks attractive, but not for the British weather!

Great house
Great house for my 2 girls. It arrived with a split in roof trim but we have glued it and sealed it. Apart from that I love it and would have give it 5 stars

Great for bantams
The media could not be loaded. Great looking and perfect price for a tight budget. Bantams took to it straight away. I would recommend picking up the birds at night a moving them in. But I didn’t bother they had no trouble going in first time. I also had my first egg laid in it the next day so very happy their happy hens.

Great value for money
For the money, this coop is fab! I coated mine with outdoor varnish and it looks great. Very easy to put together, would definitely recommend for a couple of wee chooks!

Nice looking but not secure
I would say only use for a maximum of 2 bantams. I had 4 in there and it was a bit squashed. The birds didn't use the nest part and laid their eggs the other end so it wasn't easy to get them out. I would recommend adding another better lock to the side door which only features an upwards shutting bolt. The door comes undone easily (it falls open when only moving the house) and I have just lost my bantams to the fox because it could undo it!
