Tasty Tofu
Recently I was advised by my doctor to eat more protein. As a vegetarian I wasn’t getting enough, so I researched and found tofu was a good source. This particular tofu is the best! It nicely braised and you can eat it straight away, so it’s handy if you don’t fancy cooking and great as a snack too!I bought one can to try… now I buy this particular brand in bulk!!

Prompt tastiness
I get why some folk aren't into this; it looks odd from a can, it should be drained before using, it's not cheap. As a vegetarian for years, all I can say is yum, all the more for us who know how good this stuff is. It's as close to cold meat you're ever going to get but with a frilly, layered texture. Add it to noodles with strips of carrot in a sweet chilli sauce, all it needs is heated up with the rest of your food to be added to a recipe. To be honest, mostly it never sees a pan cos it's drained and snaffled...so tasty.

Yum
Can't believe there's anyone who doesn't like this, but for those of you who haven't tried it, the texture is more like what we call tofu skins, which are made without coagulant and have a substantially different texture from the normal range of tofu - not sure if that's how this is made, but it looks a bit like tinned tuna in the tins, and although it has something of the feel of tinned oily mackerel (as I remember it) it has nothing like that taste. It's lightly oiled and savoury. You can eat it as it comes e.g. in salads, but if you do cook with it, treat it very gently as it breaks down quickly, so add it at the very end of cooking stews or stir fries - just long enough to heat through - or roast/bake with it. Yum.

Only 1 Tin - a bit pricey
It’s only one tin! I wrongly assumed it was a multiple pack for that price (although it does say 225g, it also says 900g total weight in description). Also, people commenting the QA part relatively recently that it’s the price for four isn’t helpful either. I love this tofu, in fact it’s one of my favourites however it’s a bit pricey at over £10 for a single tin.

Overpriced
There must have been an error on this listing as the price worked out for me £6.75 per can - I wish I had looked around first as another well known delivery site offers them for £3.20 per can and I am sure I have seen for less in a shop!Having said that, it is a superior product and I was desperate for more as it is so delicious!

THat I can get something I know in this way
I have found this very useful, having been brought up as a vegetarian. I am NOT a Vegan, though. This is nicer than buying ordinary Tofu which is fairly tasteless unless well spiced.

Must be an error with the pricing
RRP: £10.36Price: £5.44 (£0.60 /100 g)You Save: £4.92 (47%)Price: £5.44 (£0.60 /100 g) is wrong, the price turned out to be £2.32/100gThis was misleading, just a few months ago I bought 4 cans for £7.08 - I checked the order. The product is great, but must be an error with the pricing...
