Ordered as an element for a mecha vignette using 1/72 scale models. Nicely sized, and may get some added elements for a more 3D effect.One slight difference from the pic - the upright walls are joined at their corner seam. Excellent durability, but the numbers are reversed - so looking at it the floor reads "02", and the walls read "20". No biggie, as this will be glued along joints, I'll be cutting the seam and situating the numbers to match the floor.

item itself is made of a foam board. dont know how much abuse this may withstand in the long run.i used it as a backdrop for my models. worked very well for this. photo has 1/10 scale figures in it. which its would be as big as id go. its more suited for 1/12th.

My son used this to make stop animation videos with his Star Wars figurines and it really makes the videos come even more to life

This diorama is amazing! I wasn't expecting the material to be so thick and sturdy. Looks even better under proper light!

The photo printing isn't bad, it's the material that the scene is printed on that is of poor quality.It's a thin foam that arrived in a mailer bag and thus was damaged in spots.Perhaps I should have done more research before my purchase. Oh well...

After comparing other manufacturers's dioramas for 1/12 scale figures and their prices, I eventually found out about this company selling unique custom backdrop models.They come in different styles, each backdrop serving a different theme depending on the type of photography being made for the figures. I chose the hanger style as it looks great with my Gi Joe Classified figures fitting with the military thematic.They're made of sturdy thick cardboard paper and very easy to setup. Just be careful as they can break easily with enough force and they can collapse when not pushed in the slots. Some of them look out of scale small for 6 inch figures and more suited for 3-4 inch figures but still look good for either size.For around $10 they're a good budget option if you don't want to spend a lot on Neca or Extreme-Set's diorama, I paid extra for expedited shipping and it takes awhile (estimated 10-15 days) for it to be delivered but worth the wait.

great to setup small figures... easy setup using just window light.. love it
