Do not buy- they do not honor their lifetime guarantee . If
Beware ! This knife 5” Santoku knife broke after 5 uses. I’m waiting to see if the manufacturer honors their lifetime warranty.I now have heard back from Senken and they are not willing to replace or refund for their very poor quality product . They say I should have purchased insurance to cover their faulty product. I bought the knives Because of a lifetime warranty advertised in their add.Do not buy if you really want a quality product . They do not wish to honor their promises and these are anything but quality products. Now I have noticed they have removed from the add the lifelong warranty . See last picture from when I purchased them.

The sharpest knives I've ever used, best quality around
I have been on the look out for good knives for a while, I've had a few sets over the years that were supposed to be really good knives, but usually the performance doesn't match the price. That is not the case with these knives. The hardest thing I've had issues with is when cutting a spaghetti squash, I was able to cut through without dulling the blade. Tomatoes, Onions, produce that sometimes I struggle with, I've had no issues with these. I highly recommend buying these. Seller was also helpful with questions I asked, and got back to me right away.

Could be cheaper
Bought the set cause I believe it isn't Chinese made. Nice set but the wooden handles lose their protective coating. Some knives came dull

16 piece knife set with block
Very well made set of knives. The blades are very secure and firm on the handles bc if the way they are designed I think. Very sharp and cuts so easily. The shears that come with it are also very good kitchen shears, but I'm disappointed that they are a plain black plastic handle rather than matching the knives. Its looks out of place on the block honestly.
