I love our eufy doorbell, and our eufy vacuum (owned 4 years now), and our 360 pan/tilt night vision camera for checking on the pets while we’re gone. So it made sense to give this pistol safe a try and wow, we love this thing too. The fingerprint reader works very well and is quick. Sometimes if my fingers are clammy or sweaty it will take two tries but it’s still quicker than typing a pin. And yess you can add multiple prints, so i have my thumb, my index, and my wife’s thumb also. The pin works great too. If you wanted to you could fit two compact pistols with two extra mags, but i keep one in there loaded. It fits my red dot just fine. Charged mine full in mid December, and the battery is still at 82% in march. So 18% drain in 3 months is nice. The light inside is a great touch. It is not super bright, just enough to see what you need at night. The lock is not too loud- with my wife and baby sleeping in the room, it doesn't startle them at all. So far i’ve had zero issues and I open it pretty much every single day at least twice, once to take out and once to put away. It’s nice getting notified when it is opened and closed. If you forget to open it or leave it open too long it will beep as a reminder. You can also disable the beep if you want. My only minor complaint is that my wife’s eufy account can get our doorbell and other canera, but for some reason she can’t see the safe in the app and i can’t seem to share that with her account. I would like to be able to let her manage (or at least get notifications) for the safe. But that is a software thing that can be improved later, so Eufy if you see this please pass this message along to the developers. Overall definitely worth the money. Nice sturdy construction. Definitely could be broken into with tools and a lot of force but these kinds of portable safes are not meant for that purpose, they are to keep it secure from young kids at a reasonable cost. Great job on this one Eufy hope to see other products in this category in the future.

I must say I am really happy with this purchase. I was not expecting the quality of the safe to be so high.It has the following features:- double latches that hold the lid down.- vibration "tamper" alarm and phone notification- pin guessing phone notifications- repeat invalid fingerprint attempts disable the unit for a while by default but this, very importantly, can be turned off, so no false lockouts- interior LED light- integrated battery- USB-C charging and you can leave it plugged in indefinitely, it doesn't make you unplug it to open it.- remote open (note that it does not close remotely)- Backlit pinpad- Very accurate fingerprint sensor, I tried damp hands and dirty hands and it worked.- Once setup, you can take it offline and use it without issues due to lack of wifiNow, the negatives:-You MUST use the Eufy app to setup the safe. You cannot program the code or fingerprints without wifi. I contacted Eufy with a feature request and they said they'd take it into consideration- The app constantly over-reaches for permissions. It wants access to all the files on my Android phone, WHY? I understand if the safe used files in any way, but it does not. This is just sloppy programming making the user allow permissions that are not yet needed by the device that is onboarded. Thankfully you can simply deny the permissions and the app still works fine with the safe.- There is no option to email for tamper. Sometimes phones put apps that are not in use into deep sleep, so if you do not explicitly exempt eufy from battery rules (on samsung at least) the app can be put to sleep by the OS and no notifications come though. Of ALL the permissions the app asked for, it never once said "hey, you may want to exclude this app from deep sleep".The reset button is inside of the safe and you can hit the reset button with a coat hanger through the screw holes in the rear of the safe under the hinges. Thankfully, however, Eufy thought of this weakness and requires the door be open. If you hold down the reset button while the door is shut (via coat hanger) the unit simply reboots. I held it for a good two minutes trying to get it to reset itself with the door shut and it is secured against this. I also tried drop tests and (gentle) prying and the safe did not open. I did not want to destroy the safe by testing it.So, in conclusion, you will not find another safe for this price with this many features. I would buy a second one if I ever needed to.

Any safe owner knows how tedious it can be getting into a safe. Eufy has made it simple with the options to open this device. The space is perfect for a home defense weapon, important documents and even has a light inside. The app notifications work great to keep informed on being tampered with, battery life and access. Great value for the cost and with any product from Euft; no hidden fees.

***update 2/15The device has not lasted a week at full charge and is now charging again since I was not able to open it without plugging it in or using the emergency key. This is unacceptable after not even three months of using the device it has become a nuisance. How am I supposed to count on this device if I were to really need to open it in an emergency? I just can't....please look elsewhere and get a better safe.Original post:I really like the look and functionality of this case. It fits perfectly under my nightstand and out of the way. My main gripe is the fact I have not had this 3 months yet and I have had to charge it 3 times because it was dead. Description clearly says "worry free 6 month battery life". Hopefully that doesn't mean the actual battery is toast after that long, but time will tell. Not happy I have to charge this every three to four weeks...
