We went through 5 flights with this, and the bag is still holding up well.For some flights this was checked in as regular baggage, in others we bagged the buggy at the gate and received it back at the gate.The bag is huge a bit unwieldy at times, especially with the straps, and the little beads that you are supposed to 'close' it with are a bit weak. I would suggest to use a big velcro strap just to go around this thing to make sure that a baggage worker will have an easy job handling it (thus reducing the risk of them tearing it).Also don't count on being able to carry it around on the shoulder with a buggy inside like the guy in the pictures. At least not longer than a 5 min queue or something.Our buggy was Maxi Cosi Adorra with the 1y+ seat. We only had to fold it in the regular way and put it in the bag. There was plenty of room left for things like muff, rain cover etc. You can also stuff in a bit of clothes or something you don't want to carry with you on the plane.

The Gate Check PRO XL is an excellent product and is highly recommended.This review is of the Gate Check PRO XL when used with the Landrover Pegasus 3 wheel buggy.The Pegasus buggy ceased manufacture in 2002 but its sturdy construction and design for off road environments makes it still a popular traded item on eBay etc.In our case, our daughter in the UK bequeathed her buggy to her sister in Australia and mum and dad were nominated as being the vehicle for its transport.Although the Landrover Pegasus buggy is designed to fold flat and also the wheels readily detached and reattached in seconds but we decided it would be better to leave the wheels on rather than encounter transportation of the wheels with the protruding axels which are part of the wheel construction. When put in the boot of a car the stub axels are not a problem but loose in bag we thought this might present difficulties. Searching for a bag large enough at first seemed a fruitless task till we encountered the Gate Check PRO XL bag that easily accommodated the buggy with wheels on. We folded the buggy with the wheels on and secured it in the folded positon with parcel tape. My wife suggested bubble wrapping the areas to be taped to eliminate the possibility of adhesive from the tape transferring to the buggy.This we did as having just washed it with Meguiars Convertible & Cabriolet Cleaner (Amazon) which readily cleaned the fabric to pristine condition and we were reluctant to possibly despoil the same. The Meguiars cleaner is also suitable for fabric garden furniture and should last for a season or three thus obviating the need of having to buy a convertible to use up the rest of the bottle.Regarding the actual transportation, the buggy weighs about 8 kg and as Emirates allow 30kg per passenger for in hold luggage for economy class (consisting of up to seven separate items) this presented no difficulties. The buggy arrived in perfect condition thanks to Gate Check PRO XL.

This bag was perfect for our Pushchair. Large enough to fit the Pushchair and some accessories.It is just a bag to keep everything together so it doesn't offer any protection except from scuffing. The bag itself has held up quite well with only a few scuffs and a couple of small holes after 9 flights in a 6 week period. The only downside is being able to carry it, there are shoulder straps and a carry handle, I didn't use the shoulder straps due to the size and awkwardness of our Pushchair and the handle was never in tne right place, so we just gripped the bag anywhere we could to carry it, but that usually was only a few exta meters to oversized luggage.All in all, exactly what we needed and expected.

A huge, tough, drawstring bag with shoulder straps. Our pram (a Graco Evo if that helps) folds down in two sections, and has pretty large wheels, but it fits easily inside this - in fact the bag is probably one size too big. Certainly, it is easier - for the short distance between check-in and oversized luggage - to carry it with both hands like a large box. Our pram has survived three flights so far, as well as coaches and trains, so it does its job as a simple, cheap solution for holding everything together in a single package, and protecting the material, blankets etc inside. Getting the pram into the bag is very easy, as it opens to almost the full width of the bag (certainly wider than most pushchairs). Note that there's no padding of any description (unless you add it yourself), so you are still at the mercy of baggage handlers.

I purchased this after returning another product claiming to be for a double buggy. The previous double buggy bag simply couldn't fit our Britax B Agile Double in it at all. It was no where near big enough. This bag, however, was fantastic! It's enourmous! We fit the buggy in with thick cost toes still attached and there was still plenty of room. You could probably fit two doubles in there. When testing in our livingroom both toddlers also fit in the bag with the buggy with room to spare! It has large carry straps to put the bag on our back if needed but we didn't use these and I would think using these would very awkward as the buggy is far too wide to carry on your back. I've seen previous reviews about the bag being damaged in transit. I think this may be more to do with airport staff than the bag. We've just tested it on a return trip to Disney Paris. On arrival to Paris the bag was immaculate, however, on it's arrival back to Manchester it had take quite a beating and was filthy. No rips or damage though.
