What are Germs?: 1 (Very First Questions and Answers)

This book has been very useful when the kids have been asking questions about Coronavirus. The book covers the subject in ideal depth using characters and illustrations.Both my five and three year old found it interesting, and it is a perfect level for them. The lift the flap concept really helps keep their attention, and they have learnt a lot from it. It has also helped to get them to wash their hands after going to the toilet! The pictures and flaps show them where viruses and bacteria come from and how they multiply and are transmitted and most importantly how they can avoid picking them up.Definitely recommended, high quality product, brilliantly made and well worth having a copy.

Bought this to teach my 3 year old all about germs so she could understand Covid 19 and lockdown. She actually took to this book really well. It became like a favourite toy where she took it to bed and we would read it before bed, she took it all round the house with her. The pop up pictures made it really easy for her to engage with the book. She is now a germ expert and tries to read the book to her 2 year old brother. Anyone wanting to teach their kids about hygiene and germs then get this book.

I found this book ideal in helping explain to my nearly 4 year old what germs are and what we can do to avoid spreading them. She enjoys reading it together, given the current pandemic it’s also useful to explain that not all germs are as concerning as the COVID ones we are taking great measures to avoid at the moment.

My three year old son loves books and this has become a new favourite and allowed us to introduce new language to help him understand why we keep asking him to wash his hands... it seems to help when it’s not just mum and dad telling him!

My three year old loves this book. It's very informative about germs. My little one has retained a lot of the information and will recall at relevant times. It encourages interaction by lifting the flaps, and has lots of pictures to illustrate the wording. It's a great resource to remind your little one to wash their hands or cover their mouth when they cough. This is a firm favourite in our house and I would definitely recommend this book!

This book is very educational for kids and we'll written for kids to understand germs also very colourful , with current times I now feel my son has better understanding of germs

Big fan of these lift-the-flap books, they are informative and interactive. This one helped convince my younger boy to brush his teeth like there is no tomorrow :)

My little one love to wash hand now. Before I bought this book, each time i asked her to wash hand she always rejected me.

This is a great book to inform kids about germs. I bought this specifically bc I wanted my daughter to be more excited about washing her hands and brushing her teeth. She loves the flaps and the book is good quality. We read it every night! She is 3 and it’s the perfect introduction to germs. It has came in handy when she was sick and didn’t want to take medicine and to explain vaccines. Of course she doesn’t understand the entire concept but she certainly is accepting and curious to know more.

Great book to introduce germs to toddlers. Lift the flap adds an interactive element and hides beautiful bright illustrations. Very much enjoyed by my little one, almost 4y old. On time delivery.

The media could not be loaded.  I order it for my 4 yr daughter ..and its work amazing... Its is very helpful to tell her about germs..and to keep them away.. now a days its very important to teach kids abt germs ....so it works perfectly...
