Velcro brand pretty much make the best of this type of product, and if the surface is flat and smooth they you are guaranteed that this will hold pretty much what you throw at it, within reason.However, on an even slightly uneven surface this will frustratingly come away. I purchase this to mount a relatively light VicoVation Vico-Power PLUS Battery Discharge Prevention Device into the glove box of my car. The VicoVation is quite light, and will be subject to vibration during travel, but the slightly mottled finish inside my glove box means that this occasionally comes away and requires re-application.I also used the item for other applications and smooth surfaces, provide a reliable, secure and lasting contact, but for the immediate need that I had the item came up short and was found wanting.

Purchased two packs of this tape to stick around our PVC window to attach an extremely lightweight bug net now that Summer is approaching.I cleaned the surface as instructed, just for the record. I did everything correctly.It stayed up for one night and fell away from the window. It had lost a great deal of its stickiness and couldn’t be put up again.Now, the product says on the box it can hold items such as photo frames on the way with this tape...No it can’t. The Velcro might be strong enough but the adhesive on the back of the tape is not.Not the quality we are used to. Read a lot of reviews suspecting it’s a fake product sold under the Velcro name, I wouldn’t be surprised given the quality.Returning and trying the “heavy duty” one. Will post a review on that page once we’ve tried it out.

Ordered on Prime and I'm unsure as to why people say it's not sticky?!It stuck to my fingers so well that it actually peeled skin off my fingertips!!I needed some to create extender straps and it stuck very permanently to each other also.I'd definitely buy again, especially as a local shop wanted £6.99 fir exactly the same product!

There are a lot of different kinds of hook and eye type products, of which most are cheap and dont stick very well. This the proper Velcro product. It sticks well to most surfaces, and holds together very well.Be aware that non smooth surfaces are always going to be a problem, as will shiny surfaces too. I used mine to fix things to a car dashboard. car dashboards are usually a non smooth surface and anything that requires sticking will probably not stick to the dashboard, no matter what product you use, (except super glue, which then leaves an impossible to remove mess). This particular velcro has stuck to my dashboard, but it is only a standard velcro so wont hold anything too heavy. It can also be difficult to cut if using scissors. Across all the hook and eye products i would recommend this one for your daily non heavy fixings.

I purchased this product as a way of holding my Klipsch 51M speakers onto a speaker stand...It work's perfect, because the speakers have no mounting option, your only only real option would be to screw directly into the base of the speaker which I have done in the past for some speakers but I didn't want to on these. Some people recommended bluetac but I thought I would try these velcro strips and they are pefect for the job.The speaker is not going anywhere, infact the hold is so good, I can pick up the speaker and it picks up the speaker stand aswell and they weigh about 6Kg.Also another use, is to hold down a rug on a laminate floor. I had used non slip matys in the poast which were pointless as they just slid around aswell. Put a couple of strips each corner and bang, rugs going nowhere :D

Not very sticky and actually a huge disappointment and waste of money. The sticky back tape isn't strong enough and when then applied to other hook and loop side and pulled apart they have a stronger adhesion so you actually just lift the other half completely off the other surface.

I bought this stick on Velcro for sticking my front door mat to the floor to stop it from sliding around – I live in a block of flats so was sticking this on that thin hard wearing carpet.This adhesive is pretty sticky and it mainly stuck it all down but I did have to use glue on some areas. I imagine that if you used this on a hard, flat surface, it would be absolutely fine.I’m really pleased overall as my doormat now stays in place! Would have been nice to leave a good review, but... these strips don't stick nearly as good, and I clearly ordered it BLACK but received it WHITE. Return costs would make replacement equally costly and/or totally cancel any refund I would get, so yeah.Next time, please read the request, or let me know BEFORE processing the order anyways.
