Works a treat and got my car to a top shine.

Why would I make the headline of this review about the lid? Well it's because the lid is designed to look like you just dock it in the machine. The instructions on the bottle make no mention of removing a lid. The karcher video on youtube doesnt mention the lid - it all just says "all you have to do is dock it in the machine and off you go" - that's not correct. Anyway that aside - I used this for the first time on my old farm truck. It only gets washed twice a year and as you can imagine gets pretty dirty. I sprayed it on in mix mode - left it for 2-3 mins and then took the bottle out, switched to blast mode and blasted it off. I worked really quite well. Is it showroom finish? No - is it as good as going around with a sponge or brush? No - but is it good enough to make the vehicle look like its been well looked after - yes. And it's a lot easier than scrubbing away - once you've set everything up. It also only used 1/3 of the bottle for the clean and it's quite a big truck. So there you go - yes I'll probably buy it again .

It promises a show room Polish and delivers. It was easy to use pop it into the Karcher, use the sloe setting on one attachment to cover the car then switch to high setting to rinse off. Give the car a quick dry down with a dry cloth. That's it. So quick and sparkling clean. I will always use this product must have taken 4vto 5 mins to complete. Amazing. 10 out of 10 Karcher

This car shampoo is overpriced and inferior to the other generic shampoos you can buy from Amazon or normal shops for half the price of this. Obviously it's made for the Karcher equipment and for the Karcher units where you plug the bottle in upside down into the unit. To me it seems they are just charging a premium price because of the brand name.The Karcher pressure washers tend to use up too much of the shampoo as you can't control it as you can with manual shampoo that you wash your car with. What I'm going to do is just keep the bottle, as it fits into the unit on my new Karcher K7, and then fill it with my own, and better quality shampoo.

Good product

This is a decent price for a genuine Karcher item. I'd probably give 4 1/2 stars for the price - but the Amazon price is pretty much as good as you'll get. Remember that once you have the special bottle that fits the washers (mine's a K4) then you can refill it aferwards with cheaper fluid!!You can even buy the 5L Karcher detergent cans for not much more than twice the price!Remember to take the top off before fitting to the washer ;-)
