Great for keeping an eye on the little one
This worked really well, easy to setup and use and with the app you can keep an eye on them easily. Comes with a monitor but we tended to use the app more. Great product

An excellent video monitor - rock solid reliable.
Whilst we have an IP camera in the nursery for monitoring our baby son when he’s in his cot, we realised we didn’t have any way of monitoring him when we went away. We wanted to be able to watch him, but for obvious reasons not rely on a Wi-Fi connection and so for the price – around £80 at the time - this seemed like a good solution – a camera that talks to the base station/monitor on its own DECT frequency but with the ability to connect to Wi-Fi for remote viewing on a smartphone or tablet when Wi-Fi is available. The perfect combination. As you would expect from a Motorola product, this came well packaged in a full retail box. In the box you get the monitor, camera and power cables for each as well as the NIMH rechargeable battery for the base station/monitor.Set up is simple – plug the camera and monitor in and turn them on. It’ll automatically connect. That’s it.If you want to view on your smart phone or tablet, set up is also simple. Register for a Hubble account for free using the app, then put the camera into ‘Pairing mode’ using the button on the bottom (the camera talks to you through the setup) and follow the on screen instructions. Done. Not difficult and a really good app. It also allows viewing when away from home too – i.e. to check in on how the babysitter is getting on etc.The camera has pan and tilt functionality so you can remotely move the camera around from either the monitor or your phone. Some observations with this camera kit are as follows:- The camera could do with tilting down a bit more on it’s lowest setting. We have the camera on top of the wardrobe in the nursery and need to tilt it over by resting a corner of it on some folded paper to get the angle we need.- The camera itself is HD but the monitor is not. To get the best quality, use your smartphone. The picture quality on the monitor is OK but let down by the monitor.- The camera has a built in thermometer which shows the room temp on the monitor and on your phone. A really nice touch.- Also a really nice touch is that the night vision IR lights are completely invisible (as opposed to the faint glowing red ones on most camera) so as not to distract the baby. Again, a really nice touch. In all then, we’re quite impressed with this. I’m not sure why it’s only averaging 3 stars on Amazon at the moment but it’s solidly reliable, allows you to view through Hubble or just on its own DECT frequency, has good audio and video quality (let down only by the included monitor) and is perfect for travelling.Yeah there are better products on the market, but these are more expensive.I would rate this as 4 stars and suggest to others than you probably wont go far wrong with this kit. 1 star deducted for the camera not pointing downwards enough for our nursery setup.

Best I could find.
Overall out of the market of vastly under developed and over priced products like this it probably the best out of what I was looking for.Spent too long looking at these things.. and it comes down to understanding what you really want. For me having both a parent unit and remote access was a must, slim pickings in this area.Plus:- You can in the future add multiple camera's to the system.- Supports remote access via the Hubble app on the phone/tablet.. both parents can install it and share the login.. works pretty well.Means mum can check in on baby when she takes that one night off and goes for a drink :)- PTZ(Pan/Tilt/Zoom) but for a baby sleeping you will rarely PTZ, but will be hand when he starts moving! :)- Has a dedicated parent unit... which I think is most important so not just relying on your phones battery / connection.- The parent unit speaker is loud!.. I have set on 1 (lowest setting) and it wakes me up.- Easy to setup... switch it on and it auto pairs with parent unit. The Hubble App setup is self explanatory.- The resolution on the camera is sufficient for the job.. do you really need 1080p on a baby cam anyway.. i don't think so!- The hubble app is actually pretty good, i have found both the sound and motion alerts to be very good. And it includes temperature alerts too. You get a log too.. so you can see when baby last moved...etc..- Has a standard AV out so you could technically connect it to another Screen/TV/recording unit. This can also be used in mono to plug in a speaker/headphone unit if you fancy. Not so plus:- Short life on the parent unit, actually stupidly short., even when screen times out after 5 mins, lasts max 3 hours.- The lullaby tunes don't play that smoothly and actually found they can knock the microphone out all together..meaning you have to restart the baby unit... not great.- A quick mute button would be handy (like the BT Audio monitor has), as there is no mute button on my child..I checked everywhere!- There is a talk back feature, all IP cameras have this, which confuses me, as I have yet to try it out, or find a reason to use it.- The temperature is 1 degree higher than the other gadget we have for measuring the temperature.. or may thats one degree lower than this, guess i'll never know :)
