My 9-year old son always love building Lego pieces. And he loves RC car. So for his birthday I thought of buying him Lego RC Tracked Racer Building toy. Whilst searching for that on Amazon, I came across this model kits which is half of the price of the Lego’s. I was quite skeptical of the quality since I haven’t heard of this brand before.I took the chance and bought it. My son was over the moon when he saw his birthday present. And I have to say that I’m impressed with the quality of the kits. I would say that the quality of these construction blocks are as good as the Lego’s. The kits contain one car chasis, some splicing blocks, a remote control, one usb charger and one rechargeable battery (3.6V).At first it might look kinda overwhelming to start building it. But thanks to the clear and precise instructions in the manual, my son managed to slowly build it in less a day ( he refused his dad’s help, insisted of building it himself ). He sure looked like he had tons of fun. Most importantly, kept him from playing the video games for awhile.Once built, the car is fast, easily manoeuvred, the suspensions for the soft off road are acceptably good. The car has lights which is very useful when played at night. The remote control links perfectly well with the car. The green color is okay, even though personally I think it might look sleeker if it has some black or red color (or a little bit of both).For its price and the quality, I’m really happy with this RC car, will be buying from the same brand again if they come out with different models in the future.

I bought it for my son's 8th birthday and he loves it! Very nice look, drives with the remote control, he had a lot of fun with assembling it together. The only thing you need to be aware of is that it's not easy to put it together. It's doable and instruction is helpful but it definitely takes more time then other Lego models. Definitely worth it though

Bought this car for my son's 12th birthday as he loves Lego and other construction sets. Initially wary as this is not Lego, but price seemed very reasonable and reviews were good. Quality generally excellent, though one small link piece was broken so he had to change one section from that of the plan. Although it states 6+ on the box, I believe it is meant to be 12+. However, whereas he has built Lego sets which were 14+ with relative ease, he found this quite a challenge and had to re-do some sections. Once complete, though, it looks brilliant, and the radio control feature is a real bonus - zips along nicely, and has great turning circle.

Absolutely loved making this kit up, spent about 3 ish hours constructing it Christmas day and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute, it's a great kit to put together and it's difficult but not too difficult to assemble. The pieces are exactly the same build quality, size and specification as lego technic so at the current price it's an absolute bargain.However, a 6 year old may struggle as there were a few steps where I had to examine the diagrams a couple of times and I've been building lego kits since I was young. Adult supervision/ help is definitely required.Once assembled and batteries are in, it goes forwards, backwards, left and right brilliantly and it goes at a similar speed to any other remote controlled car. It's extremely easy to control.Could not be happier with it, I'll be on the look out for other kits in this line!

This is basically a Chinese version of Lego. It is really cool and very detailed and involving. But there are constant issues where pieces are missing. I ordered the 1st piece from their website and it took over a month to receive it. Continued building and found other parts missing which is frustrating.Again a real shame. They need to sort out Thier quality control.

Really great value for what it is, my nephew loves these types of toys, he is very patient and carefully follows instructions which was very easy to understand because they were pictures. It only took about 2.5 hours to build and now he loves playing with it, it whizzes around so smoothly and it gives him so much satisfaction because he made it!

Really really good toy for my 9 year old. Cheaper fake Lego sets are often a bit rubbish, being weak and difficult and ultimately disappointing. When finished, this is strong, cool and FAST! It's been a year since he finished building it and it still comes out for a play from time to time, zipping round with his mates and their cars.

After my son has been waiting all morning to receive this, it arrives with no instructions in the box and I now have a very upset little boy. You would thing for £40 it would come with instructions.
